‘Bachelor’ Chris Soules Back On TV, Heading To ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Next?

Former Bachelor Chris Soules may be a farmer by trade, but since he first appeared on Andi Dorfman’s season of the Bachelorette, it’s clear that he enjoys being a reality TV celebrity as much as he loves riding a John Deere tractor on his Iowa farm.

Last March after he handed out his final rose to Whitney Bischoff on ABC’s popular reality show, he joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars Season 20 and made it to Week 8 before he was eliminated. A few months later, he appeared on the Food Network show Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition.

Although Soules, 34, hasn’t appeared as a reality show contestant since his gig on Worst Cooks last fall, his career on television may not be over just yet.

Last week, Chris was in Los Angeles to attend the Dancing with the Stars Season 22 premiere where he gave his support to his former dance partner Witney Carson and her new partner NFL star Von Miller.

During the show, Chris got back in front of the cameras when he took part ABC’s DWTS All Access show. The Iowa farmer gave live commentary about the first round of dancing and looked like he was having a lot of fun.

Although there have been rumors that Chris might appear on JoJo’s season of the Bachelorette, that doesn’t seem to be happening. He recently admitted that he is looking for love, but so far blogger Reality Steve doesn’t have any intel on Chris or any former Bachelor franchise cast members — including Nick Viall — joining the cast.

While an appearance on the Bachelorette seems to be a no-go, is it possible that Chris may show up on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise? ABC’s summer reality show is back for a third season this August and one of the girls Chris had his eye on during Ben’s season — Amanda Stanton — is on the rumored cast list.

In January, Chris told Jimmy Kimmel that it felt a “little weird” watching Becca Tilley on the show, but it didn’t stop him from checking out the other single ladies competing for Ben’s heart.

Although Chris appears to be a little miffed that Becca is on Ben’s season of the Bachelor, that’s not stopping him from checking out the single ladies on the show.

When Jimmy Kimmel asked if he had his eye on any of Ben’s girls (other than Becca), Chris said there were a few, including Amanda Stanton, a single mom of two young daughters from Orange County, California. Chris said that Amanda is “kind of cute.”

The cast list for Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 won’t be confirmed until after JoJo’s season of the Bachelorette ends early this summer, but there are already rumblings as to who may show up to find love at a beachfront resort.

However, if Amanda Stanton does join the show and Chris shows up, it could get mighty awkward since one of the possible cast members, Ashley Iaconetti, recently dished on Chris’ one-night-stand with her sister and former Paradise 2 cast member, Lauren Iaconetti.

“He may or may not have, like, made out with my sister at the wedding. Maybe she went to his hotel room, and that’s all you need to know,” Ashley revealed during Jenny McCarthy’s Dirty, Sexy, Funny podcast.

Considering Bachelor in Paradise is all about hookups and somewhat about finding love, it sounds like the perfect place for Chris Soules to continue his TV career.
