Did Lisa Rinna Just Apologize To Yolanda Hadid? Not So Fast
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna has stolen the show this season, but not necessary for the better. Lisa has been very vocal about Yolanda Hadid’s illness, and she doesn’t understand why Yolanda would go for lunch with Kim Richards and Brandi Glanville the same day that she was invited to Erika Girardi’s dinner party. Rather than just ignore the drama, Lisa can’t stop talking about it. Plus, she’s been one of the housewives who has questioned Yolanda’s illness on the reality show.
According to a new Bravo report, Lisa Rinna is now revealing that she’s changing her story a little. Throughout the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season, Rinna has questioned the way Hadid has handled her illness and she was the one who brought the Munchausen on the table. Rinna couldn’t attend the Global Lyme Alliance in New York City, but it sounds like the event may have changed her mind about Hadid.
“I do wish I could have been at the Global Lyme Alliance in NYC to see Gigi present Yolanda with her award, but I had to remain in LA to work on a new talk show pilot. I wanted to be there, because I always want to support a friend when asked, but even more to just soak up the entire experience. It looked like a lovely, inspiring event and quite informative, too,” Rinna reveals in her blog about the event.
It is interesting that Lisa is showing support for Hadid all of a sudden. She tends to be very critical of her co-star when she isn’t around, but she seems to be changing her tune a bit. Rinna did feel bad about engaging in the Munchausen talk, but it’s not like she claimed that she didn’t think it was a possibility.
“Up until recent months, Yolanda wasn’t around us very much, nor was she forthcoming with giving us information when questions would come up. I want to make it quite clear and go on the record to say that I in no way doubt anyone’s chronic illness or severity of what they go through on a daily basis. My deepest sympathy and compassion goes out to everyone suffering with their health,” Lisa reveals after watching the gala on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Rinna is now revealing that she doesn’t doubt that these lyme patients are struggling, but she may think that Yolanda is suffering from something other than lyme. At least that’s something that has been discussed on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
And Lisa Rinna wants to separate Hadid’s suffering from the drama between them. In her blog, she claims that her drama with Hadid has nothing to do with the lyme disease struggles she has faced over the past couple of years.
“What has gone down between Yolanda and me is in no way associated to anyone else suffering from chronic illness, and I apologize to those of you that took any part of my questions meant for only Yolanda and attributed them to your own personal journey to wellness. My intentions were to never insult or slight any community of people that are suffering in any way, shape or form. Chronic Lyme is confusing for most doctors I have spoken to. So for us to be confused is quite normal, I believe. I have always been concerned for Yolanda and what she is going through,” Lisa Rinna reveals in her blog, saying that she does care.
It sounds like there’s an apology buried somewhere in her blog, but she doesn’t actually say that she’s sorry. Even if she doesn’t think she’s wrong, Lisa’s comments have still been hurtful.
