Yolanda Hadid Wants To Write A Book About Her Journey With Lyme Disease

Yolanda Hadid found out that she was struggling with Lyme disease a few years ago. She started feeling weird when she was filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and she couldn’t find the right words to say in her conversations. When they weren’t filming, Hadid went to the doctor, and she was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Ever since then, she’s been working on finding a cure for herself and her children. Bella Hadid and Anwar Hadid have also been diagnosed with Lyme disease.

According to a new Bravo report, Yolanda Hadid now wants to step up her efforts in spreading the word about Lyme disease. Yolanda has already done plenty of things on her social media page, and she’s always sharing new treatment options with her fans. Yolanda has truly become the face of Lyme disease, and she wants to fight for a cure. While her social media posts are very powerful, she also wants to write a book about her journey.

“I’ve been wanting to write a book, obviously, for four years, but haven’t had the brain power to do so,” Yolanda told the Daily Dish about her mission to spread the word about Lyme disease.

“I’ve documented my entire journey with photographs because I learned today’s world, everything is kind of visual. People don’t really read that much anymore. Pictures really hit home. And it’s funny because the girls on the show kind of judge me for posting a picture with an IV, which is nothing compared to the pictures that I have and the story that I have to tell. It’s very detailed, it’s about all the treatments that I’ve tried, all the different places that I’ve been in the world, but mainly it’s about my spiritual journey that came with this,” Yolanda Hadid points out, revealing that she could possibly write a book about her journey with all of her social media posts,” Yolanda Hadid reveals.

Of course, Hadid already has plenty of material for her book if she used pictures from her Instagram account. She has documented many things and often shared pictures of her journey. Plus, she could get her friends and family members to share their perspective on everything that has happened with her over the past couple of years.

But these are the same pictures that have made people question her diagnosis. Her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars started questioning what was wrong with Yolanda. She was traveling and happy one minute and sick with IVs in her arm the next. The constant changes made her co-stars wonder what was wrong with her. And this has led to the discussions about whether Yolanda Hadid has Munchausens. Hadid has revealed that she’s very hurt by her co-stars’ comments about her health.

“Lisa Rinna’s visit…I feel reluctant, because even though it is hard to look back, the truth is that I’ve let it go. I don’t have an ego in this or the energy to hang on to negativity. The short of it is I felt tremendous disappointment in hearing the women continuously cast doubt on my health journey and especially that of my children. It doesn’t feel good. But it’s real life, and I will only seek to control what I can. The best apology I could hope for is changed behavior, so let’s see what the future brings,” Hadid has previously written about her co-stars in her Bravo blog.
