Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Make Red Carpet Debut, And Gwen Shows Some Skin [Photo]

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton finally walked a red carpet together at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills. Gwen decided to make their big moment a little more memorable by rocking a show-stopping red gown that showed off plenty of skin, and the 46-year-old looks almost half her age in photos from the event.

Blake Shelton, who is actually 7 years younger than Gwen, graciously let his lady be the center of attention by dressing down in a black shirt, dress jacket, blue jeans, and cowboy boots. According to the Daily Mail, Gwen Stefani wore a red Yanina Couture dress that was mostly see-through mesh. It featured a large flower design in the front that was strategically-placed to cover up Gwen Stefani’s girly bits, and the blood-red petals of the flower slightly resembled drops of blood. They were arranged to make it appear as though they were falling off of the flower and piling up at the bottom of the dress.

As you can see, Gwen Stefani decided to give herself a little extra coverage by wearing a pair of high-waisted undies underneath the sheer gown. She completed her look with a red Jimmy Choo clutch, and of course matched her lipstick shade to her scarlet gown.

Perhaps Gwen Stefani chose such a sexy look because she was trying to show ex Gavin Rossdale what he’s missing. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Rossdale was recently photographed on a date with Mindy Mann, the nanny that he allegedly cheated on Stefani with.

Many of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s fans thought that their first red carpet appearance together would take place at the Grammy Awards earlier this month, but Gwen was too busy getting ready to film her live music video to pose for pictures with her cowboy beau. She shot the video for “Make Me Like You” during one of the Grammy Awards commercial breaks, and it included a little shout-out to Blake Shelton. There’s a bar called “Blake’s” in the video, and Entertainment Tonight reports that Gwen Stefani’s lucky boyfriend of three months got to keep the neon sign from the bar set. Its design was reportedly based on Blake’s real signature.

While Gwen Stefani didn’t get to walk the Grammys red carpet with Blake, the couple did attend Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy party together on February 14. Gwen Stefani also wore red to that event, but it wasn’t her choice to rock the bright color on Valentine’s Day. As the Inquisitr previously reported, she and Blake Shelton attended the star-studded wedding of record producer Jimmy Iovine and Liberty Ross right before she headed to Davis’ party, and the groom and bride-to-be had requested that all female guests wear red to their wedding.

Fans of “Shefani” will get to see even more of their favorite celebrity couple on The Voice, which returns tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. Gwen Stefani signed on to be an adviser for Blake Shelton’s team, and she recently admitted that working with Blake is a lot more difficult than loving him. According to E! News, Gwen opened up about the experience during a 97.1 AMP Radio interview with The Voice host Carson Daly.

“It was hard, Carson, I have to say!” Gwen revealed. “I was so excited to come back, but being that there was three layers of things: Working with any other coach, you’re going to be a little nervous and insecure because it’s not your team. You don’t want to step on anyone’s toes. So, there was that. Then on top of that, I’m not country and there was a lot of country artists and [Blake’s] super country. He’s like the king of country. You know what I mean? I’m out of my world. And then on top of that, the obvious stuff.”

Perhaps Gwen Stefani is trying to say that her feelings for Blake Shelton made it hard for her to focus on her adviser-ly duties.
