Duchess Kate Pregnant With Twins? Baby News False Again

Britons and fans of the royals had some amazing Kate Middleton news to brighten up their day, when OK! and Hollywood Life reported that Prince William’s wife, Kate Middleton, was pregnant again. The report on the 33-year-old’s pregnancy stated that she would be having twins, and that Kate’s twins were girls. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, OK! heard from an insider that Kate and William were expecting again.

“It’s early days, but the buzz in the royals’ inner circle is that Kate’s pregnant again, and this time she’s got not one but two buns in the oven.”

The same insider explained how Kate allegedly broke the news of the twins to her husband, Prince William. After seeing a sonogram of the twins, Kate was reported to have texted the image to William.

“He immediately called her and said, ‘You’re joking aren’t you? We’re not really having another baby right now.'”

Royal twins would be exciting news, but sadly, it isn’t true.

The latest mistaken report is not the first in the recent saga of fake news about Duchess Kate’s pregnancy, claims online gossip site Gossip Cop. The site was very clear on their stance on the royal pregnancy stories, and the claims that the pregnancy was confirmed by a royal spokesperson. According to a Palace source, neither Kensington Palace nor Buckingham Palace ever “made any such confirmation.”

The tale apparently began in October and initially stated that Kate Middleton, properly referred to as the Duchess of Cambridge, was confirmed to be expecting twin babies.

Sadly, eager fans have to admit that these Duchess Kate news stories are overly optimistic, as it has been long enough since the first report that we should be seeing some “buns in the oven” baby bump on Kate!

Further evidence that the twins claim is bogus comes straight from the report itself. It’s first stated that the royals confirmed the news, but later on, it is said that the royals themselves were shocked to hear about the new developments. Sadly, it seems any reports of pregnancy are greatly exaggerated. No new royals yet!

The timing would have been all off, anyway, since Prince William is planning on taking his family on an official trip to India and Bhutan this spring. While super nice places to visit, far away from home hardly seems like the ideal places for a baby (or twins!) to spend her first few weeks.

Fans of the royals aren’t the only ones disappointed with the news of the false claims. Prince Harry, now fifth in the line to the throne following Princess Charlotte, was excited about a new royal baby before the princess was born, but not for the reasons you might think! The fun-loving prince wanted to see his brother suffer through raising a new child, as uncles always do!

“I can’t wait to see my brother suffer more! If it’s a girl, he’ll suffer even more! I’d love to see him cope with that!”

The recent false reports of the pregnancy come after some other false news about the royal couple. Recently, it was also claimed that the two had been named King and Queen! The news was a little surprising but was also a little exaggerated. But who can blame people for getting excited about royal news? We’re thankful for the online myth-busting of rumors, but don’t hesitate to share any news you hear about the royals. Any news is good news!
