Adele Reveals What She’ll Sing At The 2016 Grammys

Adele is dropping hints about her upcoming performance at the 2016 Grammy Awards, even revealing which track from her hugely popular new album, 25, she’ll be performing on the big night.

According to a new report by HeadlinePlanet, Adele has already decided on which track she’ll be performing when she makes her triumphant return to the Grammy stage on February 15. Adele’s music label, Columbia Records, just confirmed that the superstar will be performing her new single, “When We Were Young,” at the big music awards show.

Adele’s much-anticipated Grammy performance was previously announced via the Grammys official Twitter page last month and will mark the superstar’s first performance on the prestigious awards show in four years.

“CONFIRMED: 10-time GRAMMY winner @Adele will grace the 58th #GRAMMYs stage Monday, Feb. 15 on @CBS!” the Grammy recording academy tweeted on January 20 in a message that has already been liked more than 4,000 times by Adele’s fans on the social media site.

Adele most recently appeared on the Grammy stage in 2012, when she performed her multi-platinum 21 single “Rolling in the Deep.”

Adele’s last performance came just one year after she took home an incredible six awards at the Los Angeles ceremony, where her sophomore release, 21, won the prestigious Album of the Year award amongst a slew of other accolades.

But while Adele is expected to steal the show when she performs “When We Were Young” at the big ceremony this year after the huge success of her most recent album, 25, Adele won’t actually be eligible to take home one of the most sought after awards in music.

Adele’s latest album, which Forbes reported last month has already sold more than 15 million copies around the world since its November 2015 release, actually hit shelves just outside of the 2016 Grammy Awards eligibility period, which ended on September 30, 2015.

Although Adele won’t be taking home any hardware this year, this year’s ceremony will mark the first time Adele, who has won a staggering 10 Grammys in her career, has even attended the big show in the past three years. Adele last made an appearance at the music awards back in 2013, when she took home the award for Best Pop Solo Performance for her uber-popular hit, “Set Fire to the Rain.”

But while Adele may have been absent from the ceremony in more recent years, her name certainly hasn’t.

Adele last took home a Grammy award in 2014 when she won her 10th career award for Best Song Written for Visual Media for “Skyfall,” which featured in the 2012 James Bond film of the same name.

“Wish I was there! Thank you for the grammy! (My 10th one! Whhaaa?),” Adele tweeted out after winning her tenth Grammy award in January 2014. The star then revealed that she was “in bed… feeling very restless” following her huge win, adding on the social media site, “Have a wonderful night.”

But while fans are undoubtedly excited to see Adele’s big Grammy return, Adele certainly isn’t the only big star who will be gracing the Grammy stage for the 58th annual ceremony, which marks the first time the awards show has even been held on a Monday in its 58 years, on February 15.

This year’s huge list of performers also includes big names including Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Carrie Underwood, Sam Hunt, Ellie Goulding, Tori Kelly, Bonnie Raitt, Pitbull, Little Big Town and Chris Stapleton.

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards are set to be broadcast on CBS on Monday, February 15 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
