Jacqueline Laurita Is Back, Announces Return Of ‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey’

Jacqueline Laurita decided last year that it would be best if she took some time away from the hit Bravo show The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Jacqueline made an appearance last season when Teresa Giudice was sentenced. Laurita filmed a scene with Kathy Wakile, where she broke down after learning that Teresa would be serving over a year behind bars. And despite tensions between them, she made an interesting announcement this morning.

According to a new Bravo report, Jacqueline Laurita is now announcing that she’s returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey. With that announcement, she’s also confirming the return of the show.

“I’m baaaaack! I can’t get enough of my Bravo family!” Jacqueline Laurita revealed to the Daily Dish in the announcement that The Real Housewives of New Jersey will return later this year, adding, “Sometimes a little break is all I need to jump back in and bring my best! Looking forward to new beginnings. XOXO.”

The interview, which was featured on Bravo’s official website, revealed that Jacqueline, Giudice, and Melissa Gorga will return for the much-anticipated seventh season of the show. It has been over a year since the previous season ended, which means it has been almost two years since the show filmed. And it sounds like both Melissa and Teresa are excited about returning to the show.

“We’re back! This season for me is all about family, fun, friendships and fashion,” Melissa said in a statement to the Daily Dish, adding, “I can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been up to and how much our kids have grown.”

And of course, the new season will feature Giudice as well. Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita may have some issues they need to work out, as they didn’t end their friendship on the best possible terms. But Giudice is back and she wants to focus on the future and her children.

“I am very excited to be back,” Giudice told the Daily Dish, sharing, “For me, this season is all about letting go of the past and embracing the future. People are calling me Teresa 2.0.”

Of course, she will be filming the show on her own, as Joe will be turning himself in. He is expected to start serving his time in March, and he will be locked up for about three years. In addition, he could face deportation after serving his term, but that’s something that may not be featured on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

And Teresa may have to work out her issues with Jacqueline Laurita. The two have already been spotted filming together, and things didn’t turn out good. Giudice and Jacqueline supposedly fought out in public at an event, because Jacqueline may have tried to steal some of Giudice’s friends while she was serving time. This could be a potential story on the upcoming season.

“She approached Jacqueline first,” the source said, according to Radar Online, adding, “Teresa was insinuating that Jacqueline was calling her friends and new cast members to make friends with them while she was jail. It escalated into a huge fight.”

“The fight was about who was phonier and whose fault it was that Teresa went to jail,” the source said to Radar Online, adding, “It was the fact that Teresa is still blaming everyone else for her legal problems and Jacqueline thinks Teresa is in denial. Jacqueline’s like, ‘Every week it’s somebody else you’re blaming.’ Teresa was still screaming, ‘We had nothing to do with it. I shouldn’t have had to go to jail.’ It was everybody’s fault.”
