Watch President Obama’s Speech On Guns, Terrorism: Watch Live Via YouTube At 8:00 p.m. ET On December 6 [YouTube Video]

President Obama is planning to address the nation on Sunday, December 6, at 8:00 p.m. ET. The below video titled “President Obama Delivers an Address to the Nation” on the YouTube channel of the White House has a countdown clock to help those determine how much time is left before President Obama’s rare Oval Office speech happens.

As of this writing, nearly 6 hours prior to the start of the speech by President Obama, the White House has tens of people already watching the video on their YouTube channel.

As reported by the Associated Press, President Obama’s speech is not expected to cover exact plans and law changes to hit ISIS where it hurts, but the Obama administration is expected to hear Obama talk about how ISIS has grown to the state where the terrorist group now exists, and how his office is planning to keep American residents safe in the wake of the recent troubling ISIS attacks. ISIS will be destroyed, claims the White House when writing about President Obama’s expected speaking points, as seen via links below.

President Obama’s Oval Office speech is being called rare – with the speech from Obama representing only the third time he has addressed the nation in such fashion in the whole of his presidency thus far. The highly-anticipated speech by Obama also comes in the wake of a terrorist stabbing in London’s Tube Underground train station on Saturday, December 5, wherein a man wielding a knife stabbed three people. As a result of that incident, the hashtag #YouAintNoMuslimBruv began trending on Twitter.

According to the White House, President Obama’s speech on Sunday night will cover the recent San Bernardino killings that left 14 people dead and more than 20 people injured. The president will also impart to the public any updates on the San Bernardino attack, as well as how ISIS will be stomped out.

“On Sunday, December 6, at 8:00 pm ET, President Obama will address the nation from the Oval Office about the steps our government is taking to fulfill his highest priority: Keeping the American people safe.

“He will provide an update on the ongoing investigation into the tragic attack in San Bernardino. He will also discuss the broader threat of terrorism — including the nature of the threat, how it has evolved, and how we will defeat it.

“He will reiterate his firm conviction that ISIL will be destroyed and that the United States must draw upon our values — our unwavering commitment to justice, equality, and freedom — to prevail over terrorist groups that use violence to advance a destructive ideology.”

With the rare speech being given by President Obama from the Oval Office, which can be watched streaming live on YouTube or via TV, Americans will likely look for comforting words from President Obama about the heightened state of terrorism threats.

Recently, President Obama was pictured bowing his head in prayer as the annual National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony occurred. The event was held in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, December 3. It was one of the traditional events that Americans have come to love, and hope will remain free from terrorist activities.

Meanwhile, Senator Ted Cruz is going viral on YouTube, according to the Hill, due to his YouTube video ad stating that he’d kill all the terrorists if he were elected president.

The last time that Mr. Obama addressed the nation during a prime-time event from the Oval Office was in 2010. President Obama has been criticized for not using the same kind of hyped-up and race-dividing speech that Jerry Falwell, Jr. – president of Liberty University – used in the following YouTube video that’s drawing criticism as well. In the video, Falwell Jr. admits that he has a gun in his back pocket, and that he vows that if “good people” take up guns, they can “end those Muslims.”
