Johnny Depp To Give Half Of His Fortune To Vanessa Paradis

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis were never married, but after 14-years and two children together, Paradis is rightfully entitled to some of the actor’s fortune. Depp will reportedly give Paradis $150 million in a split settlement, which is roughly half of Depp’s fortune.

According to Hollywood Life, Depp is has an estimated net worth an estimated $300 million.

Hollywood lawyer Robert Nachshin said that since the couple was never married, Paradis would have to file a civil suit against Depp in order to receive a settlement from the split. Depp apparently wants to keep things civil, and out of a courtroom, and has decided to award Paradis with $150 million.

Nachshin told The Sun:

“If the couple had been married, Mr Depp’s wife would be able to simply claim 50 per cent, child support payments and alimony. However, because they are not married this does not apply. The partner would have to file a civil suit and go to court.”

But before you start swooning over Depp’s good heart, you should know that the actor is already moving on to another woman. Depp is reportedly dating Amber Heard, the 26-year-old beauty who starred opposite him in The Rum Diary. 

While filming The Rum Diary, Depp said:

“When I first saw Amber, it was like seeing an old-time movie star like Lauren Bacall.”

The Daily Mail reports that Depp recently bought Heard a horse so that they could ride together. How romantic.
