Vicki Gunvalson Accused Of Lying By Co-Star

Vicki Gunvalson has been in the headlines a lot lately due to her relationship — and recent breakup — with Brooks Ayers, who has been accused by several people of lying about his cancer diagnosis. Now, one of Gunvalson’s Real Housewives co-stars is accusing Vicki herself of lying over the course of several months, and fans are unsure who to believe.

Gunvalson’s co-star — and onetime friend — Shannon Beador created a video for Facebook in which she talks about Gunvalson, Ayers, and the alleged lies both of them have been telling for months about Ayers’ health issues. Beador starts off by saying she is fed up with the lies and conflicting stories, and wants to get some things off her chest following Gunvalson’s interview on Watch What Happens Live.

“I am absolutely floored. The victim card, the “I was duped” speaking engagement that Vicki Gunvalson is on is completely ridiculous to me,” Beador says in the video.

Just watched the Vicki WWHL special and while I am so done talking about all these lies, can’t just sit back when I hear more…

Gunvalson and Ayers are reportedly broken up after Ayers claimed he was battling cancer and several of Gunvalson’s friends and family members called him out on his story. Both Ayers and Gunvalson told friends that he had been diagnosed with cancer and that Ayers had spent time at City of Hope Hospital, but Ayers recently came clean and said he had fabricated the stories without Vicki’s involvement.

“Words cannot express the deep regret that I have in fabricating documents to ‘prove’ to the world that I, in fact, have cancer. What I did was wrong and inexcusable. I acted alone, without Vicki’s knowledge, to produce documents for a reality TV show in hopes of putting doubts about my cancer to rest. I never intended to disclose my actual medical records or details about my private and personal medical history, thus the rationalization of presenting documents that weren’t true simply for a ‘storyline’ for the show,” Brooks said in his statement.

However, Beador says that Gunvalson told her she’d spent hours at the hospital with Ayers, and she told her friend about his diagnosis in early September, not later in the fall as she told others. And just one week before Ayers released the statement, he confirmed once more to the media that he was indeed sick.

“Absolutely I’m sticking by that. Unfortunately, I wish it wasn’t true. It would be a lot easier if I didn’t have cancer, just to be honest with you. The daily grind, the routines of reminding yourself that I’m sick and I need to do certain things and not do certain things,” Ayers said.

Brooks and Vicki’s relationship caused quite a stir with her friends and family, especially her daughter Briana, who told Vicki months ago that she didn’t believe he was ill and that he had hit on her at a party. When Vicki refused to listen, a wedge was driven between them.

Vicki Gunvalson hasn’t responded to Beador’s accusations, but she’s been active on social media lately and posted a photo on Instagram for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Vicki, who was married when she first joined the Real Housewives, said on Twitter recently that she didn’t see a reunion happening between herself and her ex, Donn, after a fan proposed that they patch things up so that Vicki could be a “better wife”.

“We BOTH would have to be better, however don’t think that’s happening,” Vicki said.
