Will Real Housewives‘ Meghan King Edmonds be asked to return to The Real Housewives of Orange County? Earlier this year, Edmonds, the wife of MLB legend Jim Edmonds, joined the cast of the Bravo reality show as the series’ newest star, and now, as Season 10 of the Orange County-based installment of the Real Housewives nears its end, fans are wondering whether or not she’s be asked back.

Throughout Season 10, the newest member of the Real Housewives cast has caused quite a lot of drama among her co-stars, and while Vicki Gunvalson has expressed interest in her being fired (she re-tweeted the idea after a fan mentioned it on Twitter), she may not get her wish. On September 29, a source told Real Mr. Housewife that Edmonds would likely be asked back to The Real Housewives of Orange County for the series’ potential 11th season.
Below is what the source revealed regarding casting for The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11.
“Meghan is a breath of fresh air for the show. She is uninhibited, unafraid, and always speaks her mind. What’s more is that Edmonds has been an integral part of this season. She came right in, called things like she saw them, and assimilated her way into this group of women. In addition, a lot of the drama this season surrounded Meghan, so she definitely has producers interested in continuing to explore her storyline next season. Finally, Meghan fits in with most of the women really well. She definitely will be back next season.”
Real Housewives‘ Orange County-based series was the franchise’s first, and has been airing on Bravo since 2006. Although many of the show’s stars have come and gone, Gunvalson has remained a full-time housewife for the entirety of The Real Housewives of Orange County. During Season 10, in addition to Edmonds, Gunvalson was joined by returning wives Shannon Beador, Tamra Barney and Heather Dubrow. While Lizzie Rovsek also returned to the Real Housewives, she was not included in a full-time role as she had been the previous year.

As for the rest of the Orange County reality stars, their return to the Real Housewives has not yet been spoken of.
During the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10, Edmonds and Gunvalson were at war over Edmonds’ constant speculation into Gunvalson’s then-boyfriend Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis. While Ayer and Gunvalson maintain his illness is real, Edmonds isn’t convinced, even to this day, and on last night’s episode, she accused Ayers of forging medical records, and proclaimed she wanted justice.
Also during the Real Housewives, the newest member of the cast made phone calls to Ayers’ doctor, and his ex-girlfriend, who reportedly revealed he had faked cancer once before. As for the phone calls to Ayers’ doctor, Edmonds alleged she found out one didn’t treat cancer, and a second didn’t offer a procedure Ayers claimed to have had.
Due to Edmonds speculation and questions into her Real Housewives co-star’s cancer diagnosis, many of their other co-stars, including Barney and Dubrow, have also wondered whether or not Ayers was being honest about his health. Some have even confronted Gunvalson with their doubts. Weeks ago, Gunvalson sat down with Barney, who admitted she’s been torn between Edmonds’ claims and the claims of her former friend, Gunvalson, and her then-boyfriend.
