Katherine Heigl Shows Off Newly Adopted Daughter [Pics]
Grey’s Anatomy actress Katherine Heigl has finally decided to introduce her newly-adopted baby daughter Adalaide to the world.
According to the UK’s Daily Mail, little Adalaide happily snoozed away as her mom toted her car seat in one hand while also balancing a large designer bag in the other.
The Daily adds that Heigl’s mother was also along to help out with the new addition.

Adalaide, who was born in Louisiana, is the second adopted child for the 33-yearold actress and her husband. In 2009 the couple adopted Naleigh, their oldest daughter, from South Korea.
While Katherine has always been a stickler for keeping family matters private, the subject of adoption is one the 27 Dresses actress has been very vocal about.
“My feeling about adoption is, Why not? There’s nothing about it that makes it any less meaningful of a relationship in my mind,” Heigl is quoted by Daily Mail as saying.
“My husband and I wanted to have a baby, and to us it didn’t matter how it happened. Adoption has been a part of my life and a part of my family, so it was how I wanted to start. It felt natural and right to me.”
Besides juggling the never-ending tasks that moms put up with on a daily basis, Katherine Heigl is also preparing for the release of her latest film, a comedy titled “The Wedding.”
Also starring Amanda Seyfried, Robert De Niro, Diane Keaton and Robin Williams, the movie, which tells the story of a divorced couple (De Niro and Keaton) who pretend they’re still married at their son’s wedding, is set to hit theaters October 19.
