WR David Clowney Tweets HIV Results

hiv test

Facebook and Twitter have made it incredibly easy to share personal information with your family, friends, fans, and complete strangers. But some information should probably stay off of social media sites. You know, like HIV test results. But WR Dave Clowney was just too overjoyed with his test results that he just couldn’t keep them to himself.

So he did what anyone would do. He took a picture of his STD test results and tweeted out to the world.

Clowney tweeted:

“Got My HIV Results Back!! Thank God for keeping my body healthy and safe”

And in case you’re wondering, and I know you were, Clowney also doesn’t have hepatitis.

Helmet 2 Helmet reports that Clowney’s strange tweet is probably the biggest story of his career. Clowney entered the NFL as a fifth round draft pick in 2007. He has played with the New York Jets, the Carolina Panthers, and most recently, the Buffalo Bills. He wasn’t on the active roster in 2011 and just just 22 total receptions in his career.

But who cares about his stats. The important thing to note here is that Clowney does not have HIV. And he has proof.

Oh jeez, what type of guy tells everyone that his WANG is infected, LMAO…congratulations.

I don't see anything wrong with posting their HIV result. While most people probably wouldn't post positive results, a lot of people do post their negative results. Instead of being uptight about it, why not be happy that someone took the time to responsible and get tested?

Too bad HIV is neither a sufficient or even neccessary condition for AIDS. Like the dumbass article next to it—monkeys have a natural immunity to HIV(SIV) , moron.

Maybe if he would have said…"Getting Tested is important and should go an get tested like I did" maybe it wouldn't look like he was happy that him being a hoe was such a joyous thing lol.

Rob, I agree. To me, its like someone tweeting that she is pregnant or gave birth, they just want to express their joy.

Awesome! I get tested once a year negative 15 years and I hope always. but the only way to know your status is to get tested!

Especially if you've been with that person…you'd probably breath a sigh of relief.

nothing is wrong with that I did the same thing….they are making me sick with headlines like this is it because he's black he's supposed to have HIV…..

There shouldn't be a stigma surrounding a test result, and it is shameful that you are promoting that- SVJ.

If he would have posted the results had they been positive, I might not question his motives, otherwise I see no purpose. If he's encouraging testing, especially for demographics that avoid the subject, then good idea. I just don't see his point, whether for selfish reasons or the public good. Maybe I missed that.

maybe something happened and he was scared? What's wrong with being happy you don't have a uncurable illness.

What could have happened, he got buggered by Magic Johnson? Heterosexual men who don't share needles have a better chance of being struck by lightning than of copping AIDS. What is he trying to tell us?

I see nothing wrong with his post. "Got My HIV Results Back! Thank God for keeping my body healthy and safe”. In my opinion, he is not looking or asking for any ones approval it is a declaration that the steps that he is taking to stay healthy are working. And in that sense… Keep up the good work dude! And congrats on having the balls to post it.
