Chrysler Dealerships Closing: The Complete List

Chrysler Dealerships ClosingChrysler is planning close a quarter of its American dealerships, the company has announced. The Chrysler dealerships closing announcement comes as part of the auto-manufacturer’s bankruptcy filing. In a motion filed Thursday, Chrysler indicated it would shut down nearly 800 U.S. dealerships by June 9 of this year.

Chrysler says just over half of its dealers make up 90 percent of its sales, which is why it wants to eliminate the more poorly performing locations. Some of those dealerships have already indicated they will fight the proposal.

The Chrysler dealerships set to close account for 14 percent of the company’s total U.S. sales, representatives say.
