Lauryn Hill’s Ex Rohan Marley To Marry Model Isabeli Fontana
Rohan Marley, Lauren Hill’s former boyfriend, recently announced that he is engaged to Brazilian model Isabeli Fontana.
MTV reports that Hill and Rohan, who have five children together, split up last year. Hill and Marley dated for fifteen years. The relationship ended last year when Marley found out that Hill was pregnant with another man’s child.
Fontana and Marley, who is the 39-year-old son of reggae legend Bob Marley, don’t have definite plans for their wedding but said that they are thinking about getting married in Ethiopia.
“Rohan told me we have to return to the roots so the marriage will last forever.”
Fontana’s mother said that the wedding is coming a little fast, but that she isn’t surprised that her daughter has fallen in love.
“I think everything is happening too fast, but everything has a different rhythm with Isabeli.”
Isabeli Fontana found herself in the news last week when H&M’s new ad campaign was criticized for having a model that was “too tan.” Marley has also been in the news lately. Marley, who runs the Marley Coffee Company, recently filmed the documentary “Marley” about his father.
Marley said:
“The film, I think, did a great job capturing the human side of my father; who he is as a human being. A human being really appreciative of life, who really loved to love, who really loved to do things to help people in many ways.”

My dad has always told me if a man can milk the cow for free why would he marry you. Lauryn Hill has had 5 children by this man and no wedding bells. Ladies if you are hanging on to a man or a woman because of a child in my opinion mone on. I know it is easier said than done. However you have to have a better sense of self esteem to expect more from a man or a woman. Do not get pregnant thinking that the man or woman will stay. Start off in a loving relationship and it will last. Marriage is work, a relationship is work, a friend with benefits is work. If you do not want to put the work in then it will crumble fast.

I thought that he was already married while he was with Lauren Hill. I guess he divorced that woman and is moving on to someone else. Well if Lauren wasn't showing signs of losing it before I hope this doesn't push her completely over the edge.

It seems that everyone expects that women want to get married. I for one, do not. I have been with my boyfriend for 15 years. We are more commited and connected than most married couples. I fear that if we are newly titled "husband" or "wife" that we would have new expectations of one another. Similar to a job, when you get a promotion, more is expected of you. Expectations breed disapointment. Disapointment leads to resentment, etc.

Striving for anything more leads to failure. So just wallow in the mediocrity and never advance in any way.
Yeah yeah, your relationship is so speshul and wonderful, and marriage is for poopooheads who arent as great as you guys are. I'm sure that was the line used in Rohan/Lauryn's relationship… until she got knocked up by somebody else.
