In honor of Odd Day (05/07/09), we thought we’d bring you an odd invention from the nation of Japan. Behold Fuwarinka Scented Gum, the only (as far as we know) chewing gum that makes your entire body smell fresh as a daisy. Supposedly.

Fuwarinka Scented Gum is said to give your entire body a “fragrant rose aroma.” Peach-jasmine-flavored, a single chicklet of the stuff sends floral fragrances out all of your pores, its makers claim:
An incredibly unique taste, this is peach jasmine flavored gum by kracie with special healing benefits. Not only is this a sugarless gum with added vitamin C, but it also contains hyaluronic acid, an ingredient claimed to help prevent premature aging in the skin, and it even improves the way you smell, adding a touch of rose aroma to your natural body odor.
