Bethenny Frankel Doesn’t Want To Participate In Sonja Morgan’s Body Critiques On ‘RHONY’

Bethenny Frankel feels Sonja Morgan is being too harsh on the models during a casting call for her new clothing line. According to a August 3 sneak peek of tomorrow night’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, shared by Radar Online, Bethenny Frankel is horrified by Morgan makes comments right in front of the women about their looks.

“We’ll just check her measurements because she is very slim at the waist… More Versace, Armani cut. I think my cut is more of a Ralph Lauren silhouette,” Morgan says about one woman, who she feels isn’t right for her line.

“She’s beautiful; she’s a model. I’m not insulting her. I’m saying she’s not our fit.”

Once the woman walks out of the room, Bethenny Frankel expresses her feelings towards Morgan’s opinions.

“Do you usually say that stuff in front of the girl … who’s gonna now go kill herself,” Bethenny Frankel, who is often criticized for her own slim frame, asks.

“I don’t think you say that in front of [them],” Heather Thomson adds.

Morgan, however, doesn’t feel that she’s doing anything out of the ordinary when it comes to voicing her thoughts of the model’s bodies, and claims the models are used to being rejected for jobs. According to Morgan, it comes with the territory.

“I used to be a model. She’s a model; she’s a professional.”

Still, Bethenny Frankel doesn’t agree with Morgan’s approach.

“While Sonja is saying these girls are used to [people] saying, ‘You are too this, you are too that,’ we don’t have to contribute to that. I don’t need this girl getting an eating disorder on my watch.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Bethenny Frankel has voiced her opinions of Morgan’s business behavior in the past. Earlier this season on The Real Housewives of New York City, as seen in a Radar Online clip, Bethenny Frankel claimed her co-star had been misguided and misdirected by her team.

“I happen to have an international brand and barely have that many people with those fancy titles, so there is definitely smoke and mirrors there,” Bethenny Frankel claimed of those behind Morgan’s clothing line.

After hearing Bethenny Frankel’s comments, Morgan claimed she was attacking her in an attempt at deflecting from her own issues.
