Next ‘Bachelor’ Star Chosen, To Be Ben Higgins, Ben Zorn, Or Nick Viall? Clue On ‘Bachelor In Paradise’

It seems that the next The Bachelor star has already been chosen. Will it be Ben Higgins, Ben Zorn, or Nick Viall from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette? On Saturday, a day prior to the Bachelor in Paradise season 2 premiere, the franchise’s creator and producer, Mike Fleiss, tweeted that the spin-off’s premiere episode will provide a clue in regard to the next man to hand out the red roses.

Mike’s tweet prompted some very strong reactions. Some people said that Ben H., who was the third runner-up for Kaitlyn, better be the Bachelor, and that they won’t watch the new season if Nick, described as “creepy” and “fake,” is the man instead. Others said that Ben H. is too boring and young to carry the show. One person said that either Bens, Ben H. or Ben. Z., would be a better option than Nick, who is too “homely.”

Several hours prior, Mike teased that he didn’t have the time to think about Nick Viall for the position.

That tweet prompted many people to write that Nick deserves to be the Bachelor after what he has gone through. Prior to pursuing Kaitlyn Bristowe and coming in second for her behind Shawn Booth, he was on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette, where he also finished in second place. While Andi sent Nick home before he had the chance to choose an engagement ring and try to propose to her on the final day, Kaitlyn did let Nick pick an engagement ring and meet with her on the proposal spot. Right after Nick declared his love and took the ring out of his pocket, Kaitlyn stopped him and broke the news that she wasn’t choosing him.

On the After the Final Rose special, Kaitlyn acknowledged that she and Nick had agreed earlier that she wouldn’t have him try to propose if she knew her heart was instead with Shawn Booth. As for why she didn’t follow through with that plan, Kaitlyn explained that she felt that she had to see it through all the way to the end with Nick.

On the special, Nick Viall also called Kaitlyn Bristowe out for saying “I love you” to him when she clearly didn’t mean it. Kaitlyn responded that she loved Shawn Booth more.

“That’s what happens in this world. You get into situations. I think at the end of the day, no love that I had was the one that I had for Shawn. I think that is the only explanation.”

In the previous season, Nick called out Andi Dorfman for having sex with him during their overnight fantasy suite date when she knew her heart was with Josh Murray.

It seems likely that Nick Viall’s fans will soon be disappointed yet again. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, host Chris Harrison recently said that he thinks that Nick, due to him being so “polarizing,” wouldn’t necessarily work as the Bachelor. He added that there are other men “better suited” to the job, such as Ben H. and Ben Z.

Several days prior to The Bachelorette season finale, Chris told Us Weekly that having both Ben Higgins and Ben Zorn become the next The Bachelor stars is a possibility.

“Never say never. Because after we did it the first time with two Bachelors back with Byron Velvick, I think we literally said we will never do this again.”

A source told the website that such a show could possibly be called The Bachelor: All About The Benjamins.
