Taylor Swift Engaged? Tay Shops Wedding Dresses, Calvin Looks For Rings [Video]

Is Taylor Swift engaged? Fans are in a frenzy to know if Taylor’s getting hitched after boyfriend Calvin Harris was spotted eyeing $500,000 rings. A reported romantic, if Taylor is engaged, you can bet there won’t be a prenup – since a source close to Swift told Hollywood Life that Taylor thinks prenups are “totally unromantic.”

“Taylor hates the idea of having a prenup when she gets married. She thinks it’s so unromantic — it’s like giving up before you even start. When she gets married, she wants it to be forever, no prenup required.”

Of course, when you’re worth $200 million like Taylor Swift, you’ll want to protect your assets when you get engaged – so Taylor’s father might force her to sign one, reports Hollywood Life. “Her dad and her whole money team are going to want [Taylor] to sign one, of course. But Taylor just thinks the whole topic is so distasteful — they’ll be fighting her on it.”

But Taylor is so in love with Calvin that if he asked to get engaged, “even though they haven’t been together that long, if he asked her tomorrow, she’d say yes. She’s just so happy with him.”

And it just might be the biggest prenup the music industry has seen. “Taylor’s worth over $200 million, and he’s worth about half that, so we’re talking some serious negotiations,” a source close to Swift revealed to Life & Style magazine.

Of course, “Taylor and Calvin plan to be together forever,” but just because Swift might be getting engaged, doesn’t mean she can’t be practical. “Their attorneys aren’t taking any chances. It could be the biggest prenup Hollywood has ever seen!”

Before getting engaged to Taylor, however, Calvin is expected to ask for her hand – properly, reveals Brides magazine. “Calvin is very classy and very much a gentleman, so if he does ask [to get engaged to Swift], he will get Taylor’s dad’s permission first,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life exclusively. “But that might be hard. Her parents think he’s the best and they trust him with Taylor, but they are not in any rush for her to get married.” Taylor is still his little girl, after all.

There’s no telling how long Taylor and Calvin will stay engaged before getting married, but Swift has already revealed she would take his name in her personal life, but remain Taylor Swift professionally. “She’ll always stay Taylor Swift career-wise. Taylor doesn’t think it’s a sure thing, she’s not that cocky, but she has a really good feeling that they will end up together.”
