Drake Squashes ‘Fat’ Rumors, Silences Critics With A Single Pic

Rapper Drake was able to silence the critics targeting his rumored weight gain with a single picture on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old How About Now rapper posted a shirtless picture of himself on Instagram to make it clear that the nickname “Fat Drake” does not apply to him.

In the picture’s caption, Drake simply put “early morning” along with mentioning his close friend and personal trainer that has apparently helped him to stay in shape.

Quite a few people have slammed Drake via social media about his rumored weight gain in recent weeks. Pictures of the Young Money rapper with a dark, full beard made it seem as if he put on a little weight, and that seemed to be the start of the “Fat Drake” comments on Twitter.

Longtime fans and social media followers of Drake know that this is not the first time he has posted a shirtless picture on the Internet. On quite a few occasions, Drake has posted pics and videos of himself working out in the gym on Twitter and Instagram.

However, the pictures of Drake’s full beard apparently confused quite a few people — allowing them to draw their own conclusions about his weight.

Now that Drake has subtly set the record straight with a recent Instagram pic, the comments on Twitter have apparently shifted in a different direction.

It appears that Drake is working hard in the gym and in the studio. His most recent endeavor, the mixtape-turned-hit album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, surprised fans when it was first released online. It did not take long to become a massive hit — especially on the Billboard charts.

Only time will tell what Drake has in store next for his biggest fans and most skeptical critics. However, one thing is clear — he is not fat.
