Cory Monteith and Lea Michele’s Romance Heating Up

Looks like the romance between Glee co-stars Cory Monteith and Lea Michele is heating up! The two were spotted spending a nice casual vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico over the holiday weekend.

The two co-stars have been hooking up since Lea Michele’s split from long time boyfriend and Broadway star Theo Stockman this past September.

Cory Monteith, 29, and Lea Michele, 25, haven’t addressed their romance but were spotted together on numerous occasions since late February. According to a source close to the couple, “Cory is definitely having a positive effect on Lea. She’s much less miserable these days.”

The two were seen laughing it up over the holiday weekend taking in the sun and joking around. Lea Michele was in a scantily clad black bikini, and Cory Monteith was seen attached to her hip. The source close to the couple continues, “Even when she was with Theo, she was always depressed being so far away from him and not getting to see him. She likes having someone with her that’s actually there.”

This isn’t the first time the two have vacationed. On March 30th the two took a flight from JFK to LAX to spend time together on the west coast. In February things turned serious between the two when she visited the actor’s hometown of Vancouver, Canada.

Of the trip to Vancouver a source told US weekly, “They stayed in a hotel, toured Grouse Mountain and went for sushi and sake.”

Cory Monteith has sung his now girlfriend’s praises on several occasions, but more recently had this to about their characters getting engaged.

“Lea is one of my best friends and we’ve been doing this for so long. These characters are such a big part of our lives . . . so to have it cumulate into that moment is very powerful for both of us. We both got like chills. It was really weird.”
