Taylor Swift And Calvin Harris Update: Hot New Couple Grace The Covers Of ‘Glamour UK’ For June & July

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have only been dating for a couple of months, but they’re already climbing up the ranks as summer’s hottest new couple. DJ Calvin Harris received the Man of the Year award by Glamour U.K. at the magazine’s annual event, Women of the Year Awards, on Tuesday evening, June 2.

Harris was presented with the award by model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, as previously reported via Ace Showbiz. It appears that Harris won the award due to his musical talents and his fashion sense. Harris showed off his chic fashion sense in a white button-down shirt underneath a black blazer and matching trousers.

The Scottish DJ and producer told the audience, “As the only man winning an award, I feel like I should make this speech the s***test.”

Calvin Harris even took to Instagram to share a photo of himself at the event. He included the caption, “Me at the Glamour awards tonight standing next to someone more interesting on my right & I won Man of the Year which is unexpected.”

It looks like Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have something else in common, besides ruling the music charts. Both stars are gracing the covers of the June and July 2015 issues of Glamour U.K. Some of Swift’s fans took to Tumblr to point out the couple’s hot new covers, which has already hit some newsstands around the world. Swift herself confirmed the relationship rumors by liking the post on Tumblr.

Talk about relationship goals.

In the June 2015 issue of Glamour U.K, Swift talks about how “jaded” she’s become over relationships. Does that mean she’s not taking her new relationship with Harris too seriously this time around?

“Yeah, I do feel jaded about relationships, to be honest. I think the media has sent me a really unfair message over the past couple of years, which is that I’m not allowed to date for excitement, or fun, or new experiences or learning lessons. I’m only allowed to date if it’s for a lasting, multiple-year relationship. Otherwise I’m a, quote, ‘serial dater’. Or, quote, ‘boy crazy’.”

“The narrative has been so wrong, every time it was the same. It’s ‘Taylor spotted talking to this guy, she’s chasing him.’ They create a beginning to the story that didn’t happen most of the time, so then they have to create an ending. So they always go to the same fabricated ending that every other tabloid has used in my story, which is, ‘She got too clingy’, or ‘Taylor has too many emotions, she scared him away’. Which has honestly never been the reason for any of my break-ups.”

“You know what has been the reason? The media. You take something very fragile, like trying to get to know someone, and it feels like walking out into the middle of a gladiator arena with someone you’ve just met. And all of a sudden the public and the media are allowed to say thumbs up or thumbs down. So I just don’t try it any more.”

Apparently, things are getting serious between Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift. The “Summer” DJ is already babysitting Taylor’s cats Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson as she embarks on her 1989 World Tour. Guess those rumors about Calvin being allergic to Taylor’s cats are simply not true.

“Add cat baby sitter to Calvin’s duties as boyfriend. He brought it up to Taylor that he would be happy to watch her cats while she is away, so she took him up on it. So you will probably see Calvin in New York a lot more without her.”

Harris and Swift appeared smitten with each other at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. Does that mean the couple is already seeing wedding bells? An alleged source told the HollywoodLife that Harris and Swift are in no rush to walk down the aisle anytime soon.

“She is in love with him, she has had it cross her mind but she knows not to bring it up, she is enjoying how the relationship is going without getting into anything marriage related.”

As for Calvin, it’s not something that the former playboy has on his mind. Even though he’s serious about Taylor, he reportedly doesn’t want to tie the knot just yet.

“Rhymes with no. He is shocked that he has been this committed so far, but marriage is not something he wants anytime soon.”

It looks like Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are just enjoying life right now. Both of them are big names, especially in the music industry. They should just have fun with each other and enjoy their A-list status. Swift and Harris could become music’s new “It” couple if their relationship lasts.
