Kylie Jenner Goes On ‘Teatox Diet’ After Publicly Admitting Weight Gain

Kylie Jenner is on a detox diet. Just weeks after the 17-year-old admitted to her fans that she gained weight, she decided to go on a “28 day Teatox” diet.

You read that right. Kylie Jenner is on a diet. The teen took to her social media accounts to announce her new diet to her fans. Jenner shared a photo of herself in an emerald green silk crop top and matching flared skirt.

The model included the following caption: “Got my @SkinnyMintCom such a great natural detox tea program for this summer. I need to get healthy again! Who’s joining me? #SkinnyMint #DareToBeGorgeous #SummerCalling #30Daycountdown.”

This comes almost two weeks after Kylie publicly admitted that she gained weight. In fact, she seemed proud of her new curves. Kylie shared a photo of herself in a black bathing suit that barely covered her breasts. In the photo, the young star previously said that she gained weight, but later edited the caption so it read that she was behind the scenes of a secret photo shoot. Kylie also showed off her new curves at the Billboard Music Awards that same weekend.

What’s SkinnyMint tea you ask? According to a previous report via Style.com, this 28-day tea detox contains antioxidants and other healthy properties. This “teatox diet” includes a morning tea for the a.m. and a nighttime tea for the evening. This detox diet promotes a healthy digestive system and reduces bloat. It’s available for $55 at skinnymint.com.

Kylie’s not the only one who’s doing the tea detox diet. Apparently, Kendall Jenner has been dieting for a while. She reportedly told E! News that she drinks a few cups of detox tea during Fashion Week. It looks like Kylie is catching on to this new diet trend.

Back in March, the youngest Jenner sister spoke to People’s StyleWatch about her diet and workout routine. At the time, the reality star admitted that although she doesn’t follow a strict workout or diet plan, she still tries to eat healthy.

“I don’t work out a lot – I have to start. I drink of pressed juices, and I am trying to drink a lot of water.”

Kylie also admitted that she prefers to wear “boxers and T-Shirt” over her sexy outfits so she can “just eat everything” and hide her body.

But now, it looks like Kylie Jenner is back on the “teatox diet” so she can get slim like her sister, Kendall Jenner. Back in 2014, a report in Life & Style Magazine claimed that Kylie is desperate to stay thin like her older sister.

An alleged source told the magazine that Kylie Jenner was on the Lyfe Teatox Diet at the time. She wanted to try Kendall’s teatox diet so she can look slimmer and leaner in her photo shoots.

“She is feeling the pressure to be perfect now more than ever. She is constantly comparing herself to Kendall, who is like a size 0.”

That sounds like an unrealistic goal for the now-curvier Kylie Jenner. In Halloween of 2014, the teen shared a photo of herself that also featured the pink bottles of Lyfe Tea in the background.

A month prior to Kylie’s photo, Kendall spoke with E! News on the details about her new diet.

“I usually start my day off with a cup of detox tea. I have 12 cups of day.”

The magazine claims that having 12 cups a day is 11 cups too many. The company recommends drinking just one cup of day to reduce bloat and to lose weight. As for Kylie, it looks like she moved from the Lyfe Teatox Diet to the SkinnyMint Ultimate Teatox Diet.
