Chris Soules Breakup? Bachelor Reportedly Splits With Whitney Bischoff, Doesn’t Acknowledge Six-Month Anniversary
Chris Soules is reportedly headed for a breakup, with the Bachelor reportedly away from fiance Whitney Bischoff at the couple’s six-month anniversary.
The couple had been apart for the past few weeks with Chris competing on Dancing With The Stars, and sources claim they have drifted apart to the point that the relationship is all but done. These rumors intensified when Whitney was absent during Chris’s last week competing on the dancing show.
Chris Soules has even hinted to a breakup, saying in interviews that he doesn’t plan on being with Whitney anytime soon. She has returned to her job in Chicago, and now that his run on Dancing With The Stars is over, Chris is headed back to his family farm.
“Right now, we’re in the middle of planting season, we should wrap up late May, and once I’m done with that I’ll spend plenty of time in Chicago,” he told Us Weekly.
Those close to the couple say Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff have faced reality a bit since leaving their reality show and realize that the relationship is much harder to maintain than they originally thought.
“Whitney thought being on The Bachelor was fun because she had truly fallen in love with Chris,” a source told Radar Online. “She wants to leave that behind, and focus on starting her life with Chris away from the glare of Hollywood in the Midwest. Chris just doesn’t seem ready to give that up, however.”
While the rumors of a breakup persist, Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff have maintained the guise of a strong relationship. Whitney took to Instagram to post a sweet message on their sixth anniversary, writing, “#tbt can’t believe this was almost 6 months ago…seems like just yesterday!”
But Chris didn’t mention the anniversary, instead posting a picture of his Dancing With The Stars co-stars and wishing them luck the rest of the way. There are some who believe the relationship has already ended, but Chris and Whitney are just keeping up appearances at the demand of Bachelor producers, who don’t want the public to see another couple broken up so quickly.
This is not the first time that Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules have faced breakup rumors. Ever since Chris made his final decision, there have been reports that he was unfaithful and other rumors that the pressures of planning a wedding have driven them apart. For their part, the couple has not addressed the breakup rumors.
