WWE News: Vince McMahon Reportedly Gives ‘OK’ For Hulk Hogan To Wrestle At ‘WrestleMania 32’

For years now, Hulk Hogan, WWE Hall of Fame wrestler, has been pitching for one last match at WrestleMania 32. One man that he was targeting was Stone Cold Steve Austin, calling him names and generating smack talk. Most WWE marks don’t want to see Hulk Hogan compete in a WWE ring because he is too old.

Another argument made is the fact that any match with Hogan would take away from a young WWE superstar looking for his or her chance. However, Hogan would sell tickets in AT&T Stadium in the Dallas Cowboys’ home. WrestleMania 32 is supposed to be big, so if Hulk Hogan does get a match, then expect the money to start pouring in.

In a recent report by the Inquisitr, Hulk Hogan was talking about a potential match with Ric Flair. He’s wanted it for a long time, but he said Vince McMahon wouldn’t let both of them “go back in time.” In regards to Hogan’s comments, all of that is about to change.

According to WrestlingNewsSource.com, Hulk Hogan addressed the possibilities of a match at WrestleMania 32. Vince McMahon’s words dropped a bombshell at a press conference in Australia.

“Hogan also revealed in the press conference that Vince McMahon told him personally that there is no way they would do WrestleMania 32 in Dallas without him. Hogan went on to say that Vince said if he (Hogan) could pass a physical then he could wrestle at the event. He then shook hands with McMahon and said that he was looking forward to it.”

This is gigantic news for WWE fans because they will finally see Hulk Hogan back in the ring next year. Before everybody gets excited and assumes the match is already official, take into account that Hogan needs to pass a physical. The physicals WWE makes each incoming wrestler — and current wrestler — take is very strenuous on the body. Not even Samoa Joe has taken his yet, but he won’t have a problem.

Hulk Hogan is 61-years-old. Aside from nostalgia, why would the WWE want Hulk Hogan to wrestle? He’s doing very well at his current role. Hogan is currently in Australia with Jimmy Hart promoting the WWE. Hogan is a worldwide name, which is what he is best at in 2015. A match involving Hulk Hogan at 61-years-old is gambling.

Vince McMahon may know the wrestling business more than most people in the world, but Hogan isn’t what the WWE needs right now. For the most part, the WWE fans would rather see Finn Balor at WrestleMania. Vince McMahon wants Hulk Hogan to participate at WrestleMania 32. Should he?
