There’s another video where Odadjian explains his process for putting the launch trailer together, as reported by Loud Wire. He wanted to use the single “Chop Suey” during the moment when the characters prepare for all out war.

“This song is really, really strong and I was excited because I love the game. This is like making the song even crazier. ‘Wake Up [mimicks crunching sound of video game action]’ It adds to the song. It’s actually re-editing the song.”

“Editing it was so much fun just because there’s so much to use. I felt more like I was editing a movie. I kind of forgot that it was a video game during the edit. Fans and gamers are gonna love this. It’s top notch.”
