‘Bachelor’ Chris Soules Talks ‘DWTS’ Chemistry Challenge With Witney Carson, Whitney Bischoff

Former Bachelor Chris Soules tackled a rumba with partner Witney Carson in Monday night’s Dancing With the Stars, with fiancee Whitney Bischoff in the front row of the audience. Though Chris is trying hard in this DWTS competition, he once again received some critical feedback from the judges, particularly concerning his chemistry with partner Witney. What do Chris, Witney and Whitney have to say about it?

Soules and Carson chatted with Access Hollywood after Monday night’s episode of Dancing With the Stars. He says he got emotional reading the letter his sister had written during casting of The Bachelorette because that letter led to such big changes in his life. Chris had dedicated this rumba to his fiancee Whitney, but the judges wondered if he was holding back out on the dance floor because of her.

Chris says his dance chemistry with DWTS partner Witney is great and he’s not holding back. The Bachelor star says he’s not holding back with Witney and he’s fully capable of separating the two relationships with his dance pro and his fiancee. He adds that he’s giving everything he has to his dance performances.

After the performance, judge Carrie Ann Inaba mentioned that Chris settled in as he got into the performance, and Soules acknowledges that he felt that. He says their last rehearsal before the televised Dancing With the Stars performance didn’t go all that well and he was hesitant at the beginning of Monday’s DWTS show.

Chris says he tends to think too much about the dance and steps and that affects the couple’s ability to demonstrate the chemistry that they do share. He felt, though, that toward the end of the dance they were able to show what they do have.

What did Whitney Bischoff think of her fiancee’s performance? After the show, she tweeted that she doesn’t care what the judges say and she couldn’t be prouder of Chris. She calls herself the luckiest lady and reminded fans to vote as much as they could. As for any Whitney versus Witney chemistry buzz, Bischoff doesn’t give any hint of having even the slightest of concerns.

Witney Carson and Chris Soules will be dancing again next week and they’ll be doing a quickstep to a Disney song. They teased that Chris will be showing off his strength and muscles and it seems he may end up shirtless. Will they survive next week’s elimination though?

While Bachelor fans are anxious to see Chris and Witney stick around for a bit, they may have reason to worry this time. The couple ended up at the bottom of the scoreboard on Monday’s DWTS and they also ended up at the bottom of the power rankings over at PureDWTS. Despite their weaker scores, of course there is a powerful Bachelor fan base aiming to keep them on the show, so it will be interesting to see if the viewer votes save them.

Are Chris Soules and Witney Carson showing enough chemistry on the dance floor this season on DWTS? Is having Bachelor fiancee Whitney Bischoff right in the front row leading Chris to hold back at all during his time on Dancing With the Stars?
