Emma Watson Dating Prince Harry? Disney Princess Could Become Real Princess
Emma Watson is already Hollywood royalty, but the Harry Potter star might become a real royal someday if a recent rumor proves to be true. According to reports, Watson is secretly dating Prince Harry.
The actress has allegedly gone on a few dates with Prince William’s younger brother, and it sounds like there’s a chance for romance. According to Woman’s Day, Prince Harry and Emma Watson met through mutual friends. As soon as Harry learned that Emma had split from rugby player Matthew Janney, he sent her an email asking her out. However, Emma and Harry’s first date was a very casual one — they were accompanied by 12 other people.
“Harry didn’t want her to feel like she was put on the spot,” a source told Woman’s Day. “A party also shows he’s fun and not stuffy.”
“Now they are both single and they’ve already mingled, so who knows what comes next!”
The source said that Prince Harry is already smitten with Watson, and she might feel the same way about him — she’s even hinted that she would like to see the prince naked. During a 2012 interview with Emma Watson, talk host Anderson Cooper brought up the infamous nude photos of Prince Harry that were taken at a Las Vegas party. According to the New Zealand Herald, Emma revealed that she wished she could have been there because “that would have been the place to be.” In the clip below, she also tells Anderson that being a royal would be “intense.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Emma Watson is playing Disney princess Belle in the live-action Beauty and the Beast movie. Just imagine how thrilled the House of Mouse would be if Watson traded her hairy prince for Prince Harry at the movie’s 2016 premiere — you couldn’t buy that kind of publicity.
Emma Watson fans have a weird habit of shipping her with Harrys. After she was photographed with One Direction singer Harry Styles at the British Fashion Awards, “Hemma” quickly became the internet’s favorite celebrity dream couple. Author J. K. Rowling has also (sort of) shipped Emma with a famous Harry. According to Variety, Rowling revealed that she regrets pairing Watson’s Harry Potter character with Ron Weasley. She told Wonderland magazine that she thinks Hermione should have ended up with Mr. Potter instead.
“I wrote the Hermione/Ron relationship as a form of wish fulfillment,” she said.
“That’s how it was conceived, really. For reasons that have very little to do with literature and far more to do with me clinging to the plot as I first imagined it, Hermione ended up with Ron.”
Maybe Rowling will be happy to hear that there’s a chance that Emma Watson could settle down with a different beloved Harry.
