‘Blood, Sweat & Heels’ Season Two: Brie Bythewood Out And Two New Ones In

Bravo has provided the first look at the second season of Blood, Sweat & Heels, a show that follows a group of women as they pursue their careers and social lives in New York City. On Friday, the network announced the season’s premiere date, Sunday, March 29, and the returning and new cast members.

So which of the ladies from the first season will be returning for another season? That would be Melyssa Ford, Mica Hughes, Daisy Lewellyn, Demetria Lucas D’Oyley, and Geneva S. Thomas. This means that soft-spoken Brie Bythewood is out.

It’s not confirmed whether Brie decided to leave the show or if she was not given the opportunity. Brie, who never revealed her partner on the first season and kept most of her private life private, actually just gave birth to her first child, a girl she has named Arya Dien.

In an interview with Cupid’s Pulse two weeks ago, Brie talked about her new role as a mom.

“It’s the best feeling in the world. And it’s a role that will last forever! I couldn’t feel happier or more blessed.”

In September 2014, Brie told OK! Magazine that neither her boyfriend, pregnancy, nor her daughter would be on the show. Radar Online later reported that Brie was fired from the show for being “too boring.”

In Brie Bythewood’s place on Blood, Sweat & Heels are celebrity stylist Arzo Anwar and entertainment entrepreneur Chantelle Fraser. So who are Arzo and Chantelle? Bravo describes them as driven career women who also make time for fun.

“Fashion maven and self-proclaimed hustler Arzo works to build her fashion brand through her multi-line showroom and is good friends with Melyssa Ford who enjoys having such an entertaining friend around. As the CEO and founder of a premiere talent and entertainment booking company, Chantelle is living the American dream while also managing her busy social calendar.”

The promo video shows that the returning cast members are going through major changes and challenges in their lives. Micah Hughes is back in the dating game after breaking up with Terry Lyon, Melyssa Ford tries to produce a semi-autobiographical musical, Daisy Lewellyn faces a medical crisis, Demetria Lucas D’Oyley juggles the release of her second book and planning her wedding, and Geneva S. Thomas tries to keep her career and friendships from exploding.

The video hints at the drama between Geneva and Melyssa. As previously reported by Inquisitr, Melyssa Ford and Geneva S. Thomas had a violent altercation while filming Blood, Sweat & Heels in October 2014. Geneva reportedly hit Melyssa over the head with a bottle, causing major injuries. Geneva, arrested and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, then decided to sue Melyssa for $25 million for defaming her as a violent criminal.
