Former Falcon now ESPN analyst Jamal Anderson arrested

Former Atlanta Falcons running back and current season NFL analyst on ESPN Jamal Anderson has been arrested for possession of cocaine and a misdemeanor charge for marijuana.

Anderson was taken to the Fulton County sheriff’s office in Atlanta and was denied bail, with a court appearance set for Monday.

Anderson was caught snorting cocaine in the Peachtree Tavern Atlanta by an off-duty police officer.

ESPN said in a statement, “We just learned of this situation, and it is not appropriate for us to comment until we have more information.”

Anderson played eight seasons for the Falcons until retiring from injury in 2001.
