Firefox 3.0.1 Released


Mozilla has released its first update for Firefox 3.

Firefox 3.0.1 patches a handful of security and stability issues and a few other minor behind-the-scenes glitches.

The new version is available for download now and should also pop up automatically within 48 hours if you’re running Firefox 3.

    Thanks, just upgraded. I thought it was automatic, but I guess not.

    Yeah, I've not gotten the auto upgrade notification yet either — though they do say it could take a couple days to appear.

  3. Mine was kind of updated automatically. Maybe I'm using a later version.

  4. I like the way Firefox updates the plugins automatically compared to IE.

  5. I love firefox 3. I am using it and it is much faster than chrome
