UFO ‘Crashing’ Over Southern California Jettisons Bizarre Orb: Alien Escape Pod? (Video)

In what could possibly be a UFO in the process of crashing over California, dramatic video of what is definitely an Unidentified Flying Object was captured as it flamed across the Southern California sky. While the California UFO sighting at first looks like it could be a meteor, falling satellite, or even a rocket, an orb with a seeming mind all its own suddenly blasts out of the main body of the streaking, comet-like UFO, emerges through the tail, and flies off-screen in the other direction.

YouTube user Ken Roberts posted the dramatic Southern California UFO clip he captured on Monday, January 5, 2015, asking, “Anyone else see it?”

He also explained his situation and circumstances when the UFO caught his eye streaking over an unknown Southern California neighborhood. According to Roberts, he was on his way home from work when he saw the unfolding UFO spectacle, and then the orb that the flaming UFO left behind “flew straight up into the sky and disappeared.”

“I was driving home after work when this UFO or whatever you call it caught my eye. I pulled over in front of somebody’s house to film it. I would have got a better shot but I didn’t want to jump these peoples fence. Anyway I don’t know what the hell to make of it. Couldn’t have been a plane cause there was no noise. And I never heard a crash after either. The Orb thing flew straight up into the sky and disappeared. Sorry I didn’t film that. I didn’t know what to focus my attention on.”

While the Southern California footage is dramatic and tells a potentially paranormal story, there is nothing in the footage of the larger, original UFO to suggest that it is anything other than a meteorite, reports Open Minds. It is also not uncommon to see additional objects and debris fall away from a meteorite as it breaks up in the Earth’s atmosphere.

At the same time, Open Minds finds it difficult to explain the smaller orb UFO that seems to be launched from the originating UFO, saying, “It is peculiar for a single object to drift away from a meteorite, then, allegedly, fly ‘straight up into the sky.'”

As with any paranormal story and/or paranormal pictures and videos, this flaming UFO over Southern California, and the possible explanation that the smaller UFO is some type of alien escape pod being released and subsequently disappearing into the California sky, will certainly have to stand up to scrutiny.

Regardless, this “UFO Crashing Releases Orb Over Southern California” video will be a welcome item for UFO investigators to scrutinize and debate, adding to a 2015 that is already abuzz with much alleged paranormal activity.
