Taylor Lautner Gay Rumors Swirl Again After Fake People Magazine Cover Circulates on Twitter

Taylor Lautner is gay!… But not really. Rumors about the stars sexuality began to circulate again today as a fake People Magazine cover made its way around Twitter.

The image shows the Twilight star on the cover of the upcoming issue of People Magazine.

The cover reads:

“Tired of rumors, the Twilight star opens up about his decision to finally come out.”

And gives a quote from Lautner:

“I’m more liberated, and happier than I’ve ever been.”

But Gossip Cop reports that the cover is 100% fake. How can they tell? Well beside the fact that a rep for the magazine said that the cover is “absolutely fake,” the sidebar on the magazine is from a 2006 issue of People Magazine.

This isn’t the first time that the public has speculated about Lautner’s sexuality. Earlier this year the Twilight star was spotted with openly gay director Gus Van Zandt, rumors that Lautner was gay began to circulate.

But Lautner commented that actors do on occasion have dinners with directors in a non-romantic fashion… You know, to talk business.

Lautner said:

“It’s not a coincidence that there was a writer, a director and an actor at dinner.”

And sure enough, it was announced last month that Lautner would be filming an independent movie with Sant.

It doesn’t look like there’s any merit to this rumor, but that won’t end the speculation about Lautner’s sexuality. Do you think Taylor Lautner is gay?
