Democrats launch petition against Rush Limbaugh

rush-limbaugh

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has launched a petition targeting Rush Limbaugh over his comments where he states that he hopes President Barack Obama will fail.

The petition, available here, includes the clip of Limbaugh sharing his hatred of Obama.

The petition reads:

Last week, Rush Limbaugh actually said that he “hopes” President Obama fails to meet America’s challenges.

Jobs, health care, our place in the world — the stakes for our nation are high and every American needs President Obama to succeed.

Stand strong against Rush Limbaugh’s Attacks — sign our petition, telling Rush what you think of his attacks on President Obama. We’ll send Limbaugh your comments.

Somehow I don’t think it’s going to change Limbaugh’s tune and really achieve anything at all, but there’s no harm in trying.

  1. Talk about taking his comments out of context. The Dems are just making themselves look stupid.

Here's the direct, unedited quote (source: .

HANNITY: Coming off record-ratings year for you, but you — you are a passionate conservative. You've defined conservatives for many people in this country for years. He represents the antithesis in terms of his world view.

So then the question becomes, do you want him to succeed?

LIMBAUGH: Now — this — I am so glad that he asked me that question. That you asked me this question.

    HANNITY: I'm glad to.

LIMBAUGH: I'll tell you why. I am hearing many Republicans say that — well, we want him to succeed and prominent Republicans. Yes, we wanted — they have laid down. They have totally — they're drinking the Kool- Aid, too. They have no guts to stand up for what their beliefs are because they're afraid of criticism, they're afraid of being called racists, they're afraid of not having gotten with the program.

Now success can be defined two ways. I said earlier I don't know about this guy. I really don't. I've got my — I've got my suspicions, and they're pretty close to convictions, but we're going to have to wait to see what he does. Now if he turns out to be a Reagan, if he adds Reagan to his recipe of FDR and Lincoln, and if he does cut some taxes.

    HANNITY: Yes.

LIMBAUGH: If he does not eliminate the Bush tax cuts, I would call that success. So yes, I would hope he would succeed if he acts like Reagan, but if he's going to do FDR, if he's going to do the new, new deal all over which we will call here the raw deal, why would I want him to succeed?

Look, he's my president. The fact that he is historic is irrelevant to me now. It matters not at all. I — if he is going to implement a far left — look it. I think it's already decided. $2 trillion in stimulus? The growth of government. I think the intent here is to create as many dependant Americans as possible looking to government for their hope and salvation.

If he gets nationalized health care, I mean, it's over, Sean. We're never going to roll that back. That's the end of America as we have known it because that's then going to set the stage for everything being government owned, operated, or provided.

Why would I want that to succeed? I don't believe in that. I know that's not how this country is going to be great in the future, it's not what made this country great.

So I shamelessly say, no, I want him to fail, if his agenda is a far- left collectivism, some people say socialism, as a conservative heartfelt, deeply, why would I want socialism to succeed?

Obama and the dems know that Rush is their biggest threat, since the republicans are too weak to oppose him. Therefore they will do anything they can to marginalize and discredit him. Same reason for their irrational support for the fairness doctrine. We are headed down a road that is extremely dangerous. God help us all.

Apparently, you did not hear his program on this past Friday. On the program, he stated that ” I hope he fails”. Nobody has taken anything out of context. You are the only stupid one.

I believe if they wanted to really hear what Limbaugh was saying they could have or maybe just ignored it. Because most people would probably agree. What was said was yes that he hoped he failed, but because if he didn't that would mean Rush is for all the socialized nonsense that this moron of a president wants. Yeah we got a black guy big deal. Did anyone actually stop to ask themselves if this was the right guy? I don't think so either. Listen I don't make a ton of money if fact almost none at all. I'm poor. I still don't buy into all of this crap this man (Barry Obama) spews from his mouth. I'm not a racist, I just think more people got caught up in the novelty that this guy was and We the People are going to be the ones paying for it. So as for Rush I'm sure it does piss off ol' Barry and Michelle to hear it, because 99% I'm sure is right on target. And we can't have that if Barry is supposed to be our savior.

  5. Does Rush think he can just say whatever he wants and get away with it? I agree with Harry Reid – no more first ammendment! I am proud of Harry for not getting so caught up in the minutia of an economic meltdowns that he doesn't take the time to stop and attack a private citizen.

    Get'em Harry!

Who is this Rush guy and why does anyone care what he thinks? Blah, Blah, Blah!

  7. One man cannot solve mans problems and one man cannot bring into existance by thought and or voice an action. Only God has the power to bring a true and forever change. To rely on man is foolish. Rush limbaugh and Barack Obama are men in the end. Our country will fall if we continue in our hatred and greed and foolishness towards eachother. History has shown this to be true. The root of the problem is sin in our lives and the lack of love and forgiveness towards eachother. We keep sowing seeds of hate and strife towards our brothers and sisters. I see we Have forgot Gods goodness and Forgiveness and how He can still heal a Nation if they turn from sin and cry out for forgivness. Oh that people would understand Gods Love

  8. Right he hopes he fails at imposing socialism on us. The dems are
framing this as him wanting America to fail (through Obama). Last
time I checked, this isn't a dictatorship and thus Obama isn't America
    and America isn't Obama.

    Jan 28, 2009

Terri, so what you're saying is that now that he has repeated his “I hope he fails”-line, only this time without the surrounding context that he included while with Hannity, he should therefore be construed to mean that he now wants Obama to fail for every OTHER reason not mentioned on Hannity's program? In effect, isn't that really what you're saying? Well, if that's what you're truly implying, then the burden of proof is on you in showing us that this is so–by providing us with the actual context from this past Friday's program–and then showing (conclusively) that he means something altogether different from what he said while on Hannity's show.

By the way WVMikeP, you beat me to it in providing the FULL transcript that CNN and the politicians responsible for the petition have so painstakingly left out to sway the ignorant. Thank you. (Go Mountaineers!!)

So Terri, just to reiterate, if you can't provide the actual context from this past Friday, and then actually prove that the intention of the new “I hope he fails” is clearly divorced from what Rush originally said while he was with Hannity, then you're taking the man out of context yourself–and are, therefore, just as guilty as the rest of these political clowns trying to nail him for simply voicing what he believes.

If the man (Rush) is allowed to speak for himself rather than having someone else edit him down for political expedience, all those with common sense will immediately see that what he said is the very antithesis of treason. And as WVMikeP stated, the president isn't America–as was made clarion clear these last eight years with people like Keith Olbermann (on MSNBC) calling George Bush the “worst person in the world.” I guess we're very picky about who we think should be allowed to be criticized, huh?

While those of us that saw the Hannity interview (in its entirety) realize that this latest attack on Rush is just dirty, political maneuvering so that Democratic politicians can find a receptive public when it comes to installing the Fairness Doctrine, I find it very interesting that the question regarding the President of the United States has changed during the two administrations. Whether you approve of Ann Coulter or not, she hit the nail on the head when she said, “It is a liberal trope to insult conservatives by asking them meaningless questions, such as the one repeatedly asked of Bush throughout his presidency about whether he had made any mistakes. All humans make mistakes – what is the point of that question other than to give insult? When will the first reporter ask President Obama to admit that he has made mistakes? Try: Never. No, that question will disappear for the next four years. It will be replaced by the new question for conservatives on every liberal's lips these days: Do you want Obama to succeed as president?” Very prophetic Ann. (She wrote this just days before the Rush Limbaugh hullabaloo.) To be sure, it's all about how one frames the question. Ultimately, to have opposed Bush in EVERY way was deemed acceptable by both the Democrats and the media–while opposition to Obama concerning ANY minute detail is labeled as “obstructionism” and will effectively end with the perpetrator having the word “traitor” virtually branded into his/her forehead–even if Democrats and the media have to manipulate, edit, and eviscerate one's words out of its proper context to get the desired effect.

They have a word for this. I believe they call it 'hypocrisy.'

  10. Rush said, “Look, he's my president. The fact that he is historic is irrelevant to me now. It matters not at all. I — if he is going to implement a far left — look it. I think it's already decided. $2 trillion in stimulus? The growth of government. I think the intent here is to create as many dependant Americans as possible looking to government for their hope and salvation.”

EXCUSE ME Mr. Hypocrite (see his former opinion of drug abuser = jail time), I believe HALF of the $2 Trillion you spout about was authored by Bush & Co. to BAIL OUT (see nationalize) banks and other corporate entities. It seems to Mr. Hypocrite that welfare is only kosher for the owners of large businesses, not lowly lazy poor people.

  11. Please…please. I listened to him. They are taking this way out of context. He said that he wanted the country to succeed but did not want Obama to succeed in many of his policies like socialized medicine, etc. Can't believe Obama thinks Limbaugh is a threat to him.

  12. Yes let Rush be the face and voice of the Repblican party for the next several years. Yes let him grab on to the rants against him and build on them.Yes let him grow in streght and when he sours up he will soon take the extream elements of the rights party and then be magnized.. The Repbuilcan party is sick of him too and his views as well as other right wing radio host making there party up ..When Rush tries to keep saying more and more his mouth will trip him up and he will go to far and bang those in the middle will run as far awy from him as they can and he will be left with those whos hearts are as harden as can be..Now while this goes on let the Obminates start letter and email and call in to there local stations asking for a left wing show and maybe in time wear them down and then some balance will come back to the air waves..Next let the dmc list the sponsers of Rushes and their competories and then buy there products and send the receipts to Rush sponsers. Let the dmc list the names and address for those to find.. Let the dmc list every state and local stion with left wing leaning shows so people can support them.. If you want a war do it right and take decisive actions.

Rush Limbaugh does not hat Obama – (talk about hate from the left against Bush !) Mr. Limbaugh simply does not want the policies Obama is setting forth or proposing to succeed because it will lead to bigger government and thus socialism. If we continue on this track of trying to silence (because that is what this is all leading to) opposing viewpoints, than this is no longer America – the land of the free. We must be very careful here. Surely we are intelligent enough and tolerant enough to allow and listen to (if we wish) all points of view and thus make up our own mind. Aren't we free thinkers? Or do we march in lockstep like Hitler's army?

“There's no harm in trying”? Say WHAT????? Are you kidding me with this complete nonsense? There IS harm in trying…it's called censorship! Aren't the Dems always screaming about “free speech”, but it seems to me that they only want free speech when it's convenient for them.

As Republicans have been taking potshots for the past seven years, and listening to the most horrific lies and slanderous remarks about President Bush, the Democrats are not going to take ANYONE talking bad about THIS President.

According to DCCC Executive Director Brian Wolff, “Limbaugh's cheap shot at President Obama might be the first by the Republican attack machine this year but we know that it won't be the last. We need every grassroots Democrat to show Rush Limbaugh and all of the Republicans what they're up against if they start attacking President Obama and Democrats who are working to end the failed GOP policies of the last eight years.”

Republicans have witnessed and experienced some of the worse mistreatments of any President in our history. We've seen “Smush Bush” dolls, “Not My President” t-shirts, songs called, “President Evil-Bush Trance”, and even books and documentaries on how to kill President Bush such as the movie, “Death of a President.”

What no one seems to understand about President Bush–or cares to admit–is that most of the REAL issues Americans had with him were inherited problems left by Clinton: bin Laden and the economic crisis that began in the last year of Clinton's second term. Bush was just an easy target. Everyone wanted to continue hailing Clinton as a hero, regardless of his gutless approach to terrorism, and the way he humiliated our country and his family with his countless affairs. “Who cares about any of that!” Dems cried. “Clinton lied, but no one died,” bumper stickers claimed.

And here we are today, yet again, Republicans take the heat for everything. Obama wanted to shut down ANYONE who had anything negative to say about him during the election campaign–and the media allowed it. Obama is the ONLY President in history who can get away with telling a journalist, “I'm not going to answer that, because, see, you're just playing games,” (as he told a reporter who asked him about appointing Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State after slamming her for her inexperience in such matters during the primaries). How many times will we keep allowing Obama to tell US, “I'm not going to answer that”? The media would have NEVER let Bush get away with such trickery and deception. When Bush told the truth, the media called it lies. When Obama tells lies, the media calls it slander on the part of Republicans. No one wants to hear it. No one wants to believe it.

When it comes to Rush's comment that he wants Obama to fail, he was speaking of his policies–as most Republicans hope for, because we don't want to see our country wrecked by socialism. We're already watching the most corrupt media in modern time take sides, have orgasmic encounters on TV, and weeping over Obama (Read: A Slobbering Love Affair: The True (And Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media by Bernard Goldberg). If ever there were a time in history when one party was being censored and shunned, it's the Dems trying to shut us up and KEEP us quiet. It was okay and perfectly fine for THEM to say harmful and ridiculous lies about Bush, but now that the shoe is on the other foot, they will do whatever is necessary to make sure we won't say anything bad about their Golden Child.

While the Dems want you to believe that they are working for the “good of the people”, they only mean those who agree with them. When you disagree with them, they will go out of their way to shut you down. They don't want you to know the truth, or their true motives. They don't want you to be educated and to think for yourself. They want to control you and tell you how it is and how it will be. And watch out if you say or do anything to reveal their real motives…because they fear you will find out how phony they truly are, right along with Barack Obama.

But what can you do? They will stop you at every corner. They will monopolize the media and continue to brainwash you. Everyone screamed and cried over Bush's Patriot Act, but no one seems to care that the Dems are truly our worst enemies when it comes to privacy, free speech, and choice.

You don't care, do you? Because it's many of you who have created this monster… And now you're happy that many of us no longer will have a voice or a say so when it comes to things that truly matter in this world. I don't know if this country will ever recover from this…I don't know how it can.

  16. Look. Rush has made a fortune getting people to hate and blame everyone for everything except the fat white man and his neandrthal notions of civility, justice and the ameican way. We already have socialized government. Ever heard of social security, medicare, medicade? Now we are socializing banks and automobile manufacturer's. It's a horrible situation, but I don't hear anyone with a better idea to get of out of the mess created by deregulation allowed to flourish under Bush and before him, Regan. Remember Regan's days which lead to the Savings and Loan crisis back in the 80's. What's amazing is hearing the right-wing-nuts now worry about huge spending when they have borrowed $10 trillion from our futrue, wasted anothe $3 trillion on a war that will be added soon and bragged about how they don't raise taxes. Well, the bill comes due. Look out below.

Rush Limbaugh and the Neo-cons were dead wrong about everything for the last 8 years and that's why our nation faces such daunting challenges now. The Neo-cons hate government, so it is no wonder that they make such a mess of things… Lets let the competant pros have a go at it and ignore Rush, Hanity and co.

Want to know just how stupid the Rush fans are… Listen to the snake oil advertisers on his station. Advertisers know the audience they are after and that show attracts the slimiest in the business.

Rush is dangerous because he polorizes sides and forces people to stand for something and against others. President Bush ignored certain interests, but i would like to think he did it for what he thought would be the greater good. This is the same ideal Obama is using and every president (human being) has used to guide them through their presidency. The difference now, is that Obama's interests do not agree with Rush's interests and so Rush is against The President of the United States (on certain topics). However you see it, when someone apposes the president's views, they are, in the most stringent definition, opposing the leader of the US and therefore, the US itself. However! Opposition is of paramount importance to a democracy! I don't know if that is a liberal view or not, but its very important. I just wish Rush could ease up a little bit, speak his views, but not insight outrage that could lead to violence.

Limbaugh is a self-absorbed (head firmly up his ass), cigar posing, idiot. All of his opinions are predetermined …not based on fact … are reactionary. Equating Obama's policies with socialism is his battle cry.
That he has an audience is disturbing. He, Ann Coulter, and Hannity should go into a room and orally please each other …. until they OD on the poisonous fluid of their ecstasies.

Listen Denise … be real. When a President like Bush and his “men” (using the term loosely) has done all sorts of wrong, and is doing everything in the wrong direction … it is right and just to criticize him, and do everything in your power to bring his criminal acts into the light.
Obama is a smart, thoughtful, progressive President with all the right intentions. It is wrong to attack him because he is actively trying to reverse the reactionary policies of the last Administration. (I'll bet you're white aren't you … how convenient your perspective is).

I'm white. And I recognize the depth of the struggle for racial equality. I bet you're not too smart either. If you were, then you could easily see that Obama's direction and style are progressive and straight-forward, direct … very refreshing for any politician…
If you **ARE** smart … then you must have a selfish streak in you, an inability to empathize with situations outside your own relam.

Whether you're white or not … (race shouldn't even enter my reply, even tho I pretty much blasted it into here …) you must recognize that most reactionary/conservative perspectives are based on a combination of selfishness and lack of ability to see things clearly, smartly and objectively.

Grow up … start to love a little … stop hating. How you can outright hate on Obama is troubling … c'mon … be a little bigger.

  25. America will not let Obama push his socialist agenda down it's throat. Limbaugh is a light of truth in a very dark time in American history. Thanks Rush for keeping us focused on 2010.. Reed,Pelosi, your political days are numbered.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee can send as many petitions as they want to Rush Limbaugh – it won't make any difference. He doesn't to the voters nor does he listen to silly things like facts. He offers up his opinions as facts and some people actually believe that what he is saying is true.

The good news is that his popularity must be waning – thank goodness! He actually posts his tirades online now for everyone to see. Several years ago I tried to confirm something he had said and could not read it online without paying a membership fee. Since I refused to do so, I could not verify my “facts.” At least now I can read a transcript of his radio show. I find reading his radio show transcripts helpful in raising my low blood-pressure.

Years ago I nearly blew a gasket when I heard Rush refer to Hillary Clinton as a “femnatzi.” I haven't heard yet and don't know if I want to know but here goes; what is his cute, little pet term for President Obama? It would be interesting to see just how un-politically incorrect he can get.

Give me a break!!! Democrats wanted Bush to fail for 8 years, as well as do everything possible to prevent anything Republican from succeeding. Now you want to whine about one comment by Limbaugh. I guess all the crap coming out of Franken's and Olberman's mouths was perfectly acceptable.

  30. ugh. This is where the Dems fail. Instead of debating Limbaugh on actual issues that matter they turn into over sensitive babies and attack republicans on speech issues, “mean spirited-ness” and political correctness. Its why I refuse to identify with them and remain a moderate despite leaning to a more liberal viewpoint.

Now we have a “petition”?? For what? A blowhard exercising his right to free speech? (and don't give me “it doesn't give him a right to yell *fire* in a crowded theater” shtick, it doesn't apply in the least).

No, there's “no harm in trying”but isn't there far more important things to be talking about than giving Limbaugh even more exposure and allowing him to rally his brainless sheep?

  31. Well, isnt this a hoot.
I thought the Libs, and their Mainstream Media attack machine were all about FREE SPEECH!
Did anyone hear the Lib Democrats cheering our last President on???
Apparently only they are entitled to our 1st Amendment rights!

  32. Yea, Bush didn't report for the last whole year of National Guard duty due to cocaine use

  33. Yea, people were kicked out of free, no-ticketed, taxpayer funded events for wearing ant-Bush T-shirts and others for having the wrong bumper sticker during the last administration .

  34. Denise:

You clearly are wacked. I couldn't even read the whole mess. How is the Dems are the enemy when it comes to privacy, free speech and choice. Do you know what's in the Patriot act ? Hear anything about illegal wire taps, searches, etc. ? Ever hear of which side the Dems are on with regard with what you can do with your own body ? I could go on.

  35. Keep up the good work Rush. I do not remember them [the dems] hoping W would meet americas challenges. They tore Bush up every chance they could get and they still are. How short their memories can be.Well I hope he does do good things for the betterment of the country. but it seems funny the media gave Barack a pass treating him like the second coming Well God Bess America

  36. THIS IS RETARDED> the world as we know it is crumbling and we still have this IDIOTIC school-yard scrap B.S. between equally immature baby boomer republicans and democrats. I AM SO SICK OF IT! ALL of us need to look inward and figure out why we are all in this HORRIBLE mess! If we could begin to see each other as valuable and stop looking for ways to USE each other to further our little agendas, THINGS COULD CHANGE. It sounds CORNY, because we have all become so EFFIN SNARKY. It's that snarkiness that will be our downfall….ok, ok, BUT, Rush IS the KING BABY of the big, giant, whining, BLOATED BABY BOOMERS!

I don't have to prove anything. All you had to do was to listen to his show. Also to Sean Hannity. This whole bailout was started on President Bush's watch. He said it was so the banks to shore up their infrastruture, and start loaning money again. That has not happened. It is being used for buying other banks, AIG spending 400,000 dollars on a “spa” week for it's employee's. He was supposed to make sure that the money was being spent the way that the people said it would.

I got off the subject, and I am sorry for that. Yes, people make mistakes. But, George Bush's mistakes have gotten more than 4,000 people killed. More than was killed in the TWIN TOWERS. I voted for Obama, and I for one, would like to give the man a chance. Rush and Sean have been tearing him a new a**hole since he was a canidate. And after he was elected, they really went after him. They do not even want to give him a chance.

Since even before he took office, Everything he has done has been wrong, according to them. GIVE THE MAN A CHANCE.

needs be cleaned up with strong cleaning agents. I cannot
see how he can be a good role model for the betterment of nation, or a community. His mouth is full of toxic and requires cleaning with strong solution before he contaminate this beautiful nation. And not
just him alone, but other hoardes of followers and colleques as well, such as Laura Ingram, Cathy???, and an another guy I couldn't remember his name and also Glen Beck, along with Hannity. These guys out to go back to sckool to major in civil-communication. And yes I support you 100% for detoxizing and ousting Rush Limbaugh.

  41. Terri is such a woosy!!!! BAAA BBAAAA BAAAA little lamb. Obama and his socialistic views and the Dems plan to make us a bunch of dependent, non thinking, government depend on peasants will FAIL!!!! Obama the terrorist loving,American hating, idiot will FAIL

  42. We are in this mess not because of a president but because of the idiots who vote these Pols into office. Most voters don't have a clue what the candidates background is, what their experiences are, or what they stand for.
People vote becuase the candidates “sound good” or “look good”. (can you say American Idol).

Get educated about the issues and vote on the issues!!! If you tried to run any business they way the government is run we'd be going bankrupt (oh wait…duh)

This whole thing about the Dems vs Rush is a distraction from the true issues. Not to mention it was already addressed in the Bill of Rights (see Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press).

Isn't it ironic that the “free speech” crowd only believes in ME speech? Tow the party line or you will to be gang banged. Pathetic, zombie punks. Liberals cannot tolerate dissent or engagement in the arena of ideas. They “talk” the game but cannot walk the line—-like Obambo, all sizzle and no steak. The Fabians running the government and the mainstream media are one-in-the-same and fear anyone, Limbaugh in this case, for merely propagating what at least half of the country know anyway. Screw the Dims.

  44. Listen to the interview, he made it clear that it was Obama's policies he wanted to fail. I do too. Socialism has never worked. It hasn't worked for Europe and it did not work for Bush either with the banking takeover. Rush is an open book—listen to the show or watch the interview and you will realize that what is being reported about him is pure crap!

  45. All Dictators try to silence the minority. Obama and his left wing gestopo constituents are trying to do the same thing. Shame Shame on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

The dems are taking this way too far. What's next? Arrest him? You dems go do what you do best. Go spend some money!! Go to the mall, get fat and leave us alone.

It's funny to read all of these anti Obama posts warning of impending socialism. It was only a month ago that Bush and Paulson nationalized the entire banking and auto industry. Oh, and just today Limbaugh was talking about how great the economy was again. Didn't he tell everybody to vote for Obama earlier in the year? …..Operation Chaos , the guy is pure genius. I love how he talks down to his audience.

  48. Way to go Bort! I agree, screw the the first amendment. I lived in a communist country for most of my life, and I can deal with that. Can you? Wait till they come knocking at your door. Let's see if you'll post stupid comments like these then.

  49. I have a question, Wasn't Rush addicted to oxycontin, because he had such severe back pain, that he could hardley move without it? Then he went to rehab for 30 days, and supposedly got off of it. Now he is back running all over the country, attending events, playing GOLF. Golf is physical, and painful for people with back problems. So is walking. WHAT IS HE TAKING NOW?

  50. GO RUSH GO!!!!!! MY GOD we need a strong voice to counter these TRILLIONS of dollars that will be repaid by GENERATIONS to come….I hope Obama wakes up but it ain't happening…So I agree with Rush that he will not support Obama's spending policy but that this is our President and we will support…….we are not LEMMINGS following each after the other over the CLIFF!!!! Let the this run it course without my granddaughter having to pay…….

Hate to break it to you Tagway, but the Bush administration already wrote the payment book for your grandkids and their great grandchildren and on and on. They have to try to chip away at the 10 trillion debt he left us with!

  52. Un-fricking-believable…

This is a futile and dishonest attempt to slander the Rush. Are lies and distortions all you people have?

What a sad life you all most lead.

Sorry, I don't think God is going to be blessing Rush anytime soon. He might even be thinking about smiting him down or turning him in to a newt due to Rush's starting the movement to label our new president the messiah.

  55. Way to go WVMikeP!! They did take it TOTALLY out of context…The Dems ALWAYS do!!!!

SO WHAT? At least some people don't lie and coerce their housekeepers into getting their fix. Using and being addicted are quite different things. I don't hear the HYPOCRISY coming from the cocaine side like I do with the pill-popping Rush (oh, and don't get me started with Cindy McCain, either).

Dems did NOT want him to fail, they wanted him to succeed. Can't help it if he FAILED this country and should be tried on warcrimes along with Cheney and Rumsfeld.

Rush is the biggest hypocrite of them all. Pill poppin' junkie who if someone on the “opposing” side were to do he'd be all over it, wanting them convicted for their crimes. He got off lightly…….and I bet he's still a popper.

I hope he overdoses and dies.
