Kyle Richards On Lisa: ‘Brushing It Under The Carpet Is A Temporary Solution’

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards questioned her friendship with Lisa Vanderpump on the reunion special last year, after she learned that Lisa had possibly tried to put some tabloid magazines in Brandi Glanville’s bag regarding Richards’ husband’s supposed affair. Kyle was hurt and confused, as she thought that Lisa was her friend.

Kyle Richards may have been even more confused, as Vanderpump had been caught saying rude and harsh things about Kyle and her husband. On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Vanderpump had joked that people just had to list their home with Mauricio Umansky, and Kyle would become a great friend. She hinted that Richards was all about the professional relationships.

According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards may have forgotten those nasty comments when she met up with her former friend for lunch on the premiere episode of this new season. She wanted to work things out.

“Lisa and I picked up where we left off last year. I reached out to Lisa and asked her to meet with me. Lisa and I had always been close. In the past couple of years, we have had our moments and a lot of obstacles to work through. However, life is too short, and I wanted to talk it out and be able to start from scratch,” Richards reveals.

Richards also points out that she does miss her friend, even though comments were made that she doesn’t necessarily agree with. But during their lunch, Kyle didn’t bring up the comments that were made behind her back. Perhaps, she doesn’t want to deal with the confrontation.

“I missed the days of us just laughing and having fun. I wanted to get to a strong enough place where we wouldn’t go backwards again or let outside negativity influence our friendship. I think that in order to do that you have to have these conversations. Brushing it under the carpet and just “moving on” is always a temporary solution,” Richards explains, hinting that this makeup is only temporary between them.

Even though things are calm at the moment, feuds and fights will surface this season. According to the Inquisitr, Kyle Richards has been rumored to feud with both her sister and Brandi Glanville. Oddly enough, there have been no reports saying that she is at odds with Vanderpump. Perhaps, shoving everything under the rug is a good solution for these two, as Lisa showed up at Kyle’s famous White Party on the premiere episode.
