Did Caroline Kennedy withdraw from NY Senate Race due to an affair?

First of all, it's not “shaking” ground, it's “shaky” ground. Second, it's not “who's”, it's “whose”. Get your English right if you're going to publish these things.

Aw! No sooner do we find out that Caroline Kennedy is, in fact, fully qualified to serve as a Senator representing New York State ( had an affair, is incapable of intelligible or intelligent speech, has no credentials, lies to the press, embarasses her children, etc.), she up and withdraws.

I'm shocked and surprised- not. Nor am I shocked and surprised that this was not front page news the moment she announced her interest in Hillary's Senate seat. No Sarah Palin treatment for a democrat.

If having an affair makes her ineligible for public office, then half the senate and the house would be leaving. We got to stop expecting public officials to be living up to a standard of conduct which has nothing to do with their official responsibilities.

This is what piss' me off about Caroline Kennedy. She is a big advocator and on the Board and all that other stuff for “public schools.” How good they are, etc…. However, her kids go to a private school. Talk about double standard. What a loser. Like she knows what public schools are all about. Joke!

I am glad that even the Mayor said he wasn't going to choose her! With the new administration, and the era of CHANGE, I am glad to see that an era of ENTITLEMENT is slowing down, if not coming to a stop! We are grateful, as a nation and as a world, for her her father's endearing service and we are in debt forever for his sacrifice! That said, we a grateful, once again as a nation for her droping out

It's totally destructive to honest, objective discourse, that there is so much blind partisanship evident among even our more educated bloggers. I know Caroline was only about 7 when her father was so violently taken from us. Still, I believe that Jackie, (possibly with some support from her husband, Ari Onassis) endeavored to provide Caroline and John John with a protected, out-of-the-spotlight life, in their growing-up years. Based on comments made by John John, to friends and associates, shortly before his most curious and untimely demise, (assassination?), it appears that Jackie and the rest of the Kennedy clan, had spent millions on private investigators, to learn the truth of who was behind JFK's assassination. John John had made two bold statements to his associates, several weeks before his death, that he planned to make a run for President, in either 2000 or 2004, (alarming both the Bushes and Clintons), and that he intended to use his voice in the media, through his “George” magazine and other media, to for once and for all, bring America the truth behind what really happened on November 22, 1963.

I believe that Jackie most likely spent a lot of time and energy, raising both her children, with a clear understanding of what their father believed, and what he was trying to accomplish for his country, before the “hit” on him in Dallas.

The media have created this idealized Uber-Liberal picture of JFK – (who cares about accuracy when you're trying to glamorize and push leftist ideology onto the reading public?) When one objectively studies JFK's White House years, a different picture emerges, one of a man who thought INDEPENDENTLY, who was a deep thinker, and very much “AMERICA-FIRST” in his thoughts, speeches and actions. I'm sure that most people who've been conditioned to accept the MSM/Establishment version of events, will label me a kook, but, all I suggest to the readers of this blog, is that you do TWO searches on Google, and, maybe these two items will cause YOU, like me, to stop the presses, and reflect on the kind of leader JFK really may have been.

1. Do a Google Search on “Executive Order 11110″ and go to several of the links and read up as thoroughly as you can, on JFK's patriotic effort, in mid 1963, to begin the process of doing away with the Federal Reserve System. (Other than Barry Goldwater and Ron Paul, what other prominent U.S. post-war politician has EVER even so much as suggested such policy?) In doing this, JFK openly defied the Power Elite and provided a strong motive for them to remove him from the Presidency.

2. Do a Google Search on “The speech that got JFK killed”. Here, in the midst of a press conference, also in 1963, Kennedy was warning the US Public against the concentration of political power among the “Secret Societies” and “Cabals”, that today's right-wing pundits refer to as the East Coast Establishment, or the Power Elite, or the New World Order conspirators.

What I'm curious about, mainly, in the discussions of her fitness or lack thereof to hold public elective office, is how much of her father, Caroline has inherited, through her immediate family's teachings, and through her own independent study of his life and achievements.

All I'm saying, is that perhaps, just perhaps, there is a lot more redeeming to Caroline Kennedy than all you knee-jerk unthinking GOP partisans have been willing to allow. As a lifelong Goldwater-style conservative, I'm keeping an open mind to that possibility, and I would suggest that the rest of you try to do the same.

Hello. Just wanted to say you need to get over your obsession with English grammer. As many Emails that I get from work from supervisors who can't spell or who don't pre-read their letters……..is it i before e except after c???….I no longer care……This is the age of production and making moola……So ease up on the small stuff……Unless you've got nothing else to gripe about….
