Ilham Anas is Indonesia’s Obama Look Alike

Meet Ilham Anas, an Indonesian man with a particularly interesting trait: he’s has a striking resemblance to Barack Obama.

“When Obama won, my colleagues played a practical joke on me — they made me wear a suit, a tie, and took pictures of me posing as Obama,” Anas told Reuters. “The pictures spread very quickly on the Internet. It was phenomenal. Then TV stations and an advertising agency got in touch with me.”

His looks have resulted in an appearance in a pharmaceuticals ad in the Philippines (video below).

Indonesia feels a strong attachment to Obama, with the President Elect having spent several years as a child living in the country.
