Courteney Cox To Marry Fiance Johnny McDaid In Her ‘Friends’ Wedding Gown?

Courteney Cox and her engagement to Johnny McDaid is one of a kind. First, unlike most Hollywood engagements, it doesn’t seem to attract a lot of bad stories. Second, the former Friends star appears to be genuinely enjoying her time with the Snow Patrol performer. A few weeks ago, Cox and her fiance flew to Ireland to meet the guy’s family, including her future-mom-in-law who seemed to like her very much. More recently, the two were spotted in Mexico enjoying a wonderful time under the sun.

A recent scoop is bound to get fans more excited about Cox’ upcoming wedding. According to Yahoo!, there is a chance Courteney will be wearing the gown she wore when she played Monica Geller on her hit 90s sitcom.

It seems like someone wants to relive one of the show’s best episodes. An insider for Heat Magazine says Courteney Cox wants to wear the bridal dress she wore when she married her on-screen husband, Chandler Bing, on the seventh season of the show. Allegedly, Cox hasn’t straightened up all the minute details of her upcoming ceremony, but reportedly, she’s sure about wearing Monica’s dress, except that instead of marrying Matthew Perry, Courteney will be saying “I do” to her 38-year-old fiance.

The magazine’s insider said Eric Daman will be designing Courteney Cox’ wedding dress. Apparently, he’s the same guy who made Monica’s wedding dress, and Cox is allegedly requesting a similar, form-fitting replica to wear to her actual wedding.

“[Eric] helped to create the House of Bianchi dress she wore [as Monica] and [Cox] wants a very similar form-fitting dress. She also wants a similar long veil and a bouquet of red roses with petals scattered down the aisle. She’s extremely nostalgic about the show. Even her home is filled with loads of the original props and artefacts.”

In other news, Jennifer Aniston is also enjoying every moment of her engagement with Justin Theroux, despite Hollywood’s finest gossipers relentlessly picking on the actress two-year engagement. Speaking on best-friend Courteney Cox’ upcoming wedding, Jen says they don’t speak much about their respective engagements although the Cake actress has some advice for her former co-star.

“We honestly don’t talk about it. We both have our things. Her’s just happened. Minutes ago. There’s something to enjoying the engagement period, I have to say. Whether it’s three months, one year, two, three, four, or five years. Who knows? Whatever it is, enjoy it!”
