Seesmic Now Available On MovableType

Seesmic has announced support for MovableType blogs.

The threaded video microblogging service first announced support for video commenting back in April. The concept of video commenting on blogs, unheard of before this year, has driven rapid growth in Seesmic’s user base. Seesmic now offers support for Movable Type, WordPress, Disqus, Cocomment, Drupal (API support) and Dotclear to add video comments. The Seemic plugins are already installed on around 1500 sites and blogs.

We’d have Seesmic video commenting here on The Inquisitr currently as the API version of the Disqus plugin still doesn’t support it (Daniel…hint, hint), but if we find a way to implement it in the mean time we will. I’m convinced that the option of video adds to the overall commenting experience. It’s not that everyone uses it (most people don’t) but there are times I’ve found myself using video when the written word just wasn’t enough in expressing what I had to say.
