Capcom announces Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, due out this year

Capcom is gearing up to take Marvel vs Capcom 3 fans for another ride this coming November 15 with Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.

The update to the popular sequel to the fighting game cross-over franchise adds an additional twelve characters, including Strider Hiryu, Firebrand, Hawkeye and Ghost Rider, in addition to balance tweaks for the characters and overall mechanics.

A feature bizarrely absent from Marvel vs Capcom 3, the ability to spectate online matches in lobbies, has been added into Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 as well, in addition to several more as-of-yet-unannounced features.

Ulimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 15.
