Activision announces GoldenEye 007: Reloaded

As it turns out, those GoldenEye 007: Reloaded domains registered by Activision weren’t exactly registered for nothing. Earlier this morning, the publisher officially announced GoldEnEye 007: Reloaded for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

As we suspected, GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is a HD remake of the Wii GoldenEye 007 game released last year. Beyond sporting new and improved HD visuals, Reloaded brings Move support to the PlayStation 3 version, and an all-new “Mi6 Ops Missions”, an objective-based mode packed with brand new missions to both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.

“We are beyond ecstatic to debut GoldenEye 007: Reloaded to the millions of fans who have been clamoring for it to arrive on Sony and Microsoft home consoles,” said David Oxford, EVP at Activision Publishing. “And now with full PlayStation Move functionality, 007 fans all around the world can play the game in full HD in more ways than ever before.”

GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this fall. See below for the game’s debut trailer (via VG247).
