Call of Duty Elite beta is now live

Activision has announced that the Call of Duty Elite beta has officially kicked off, and the first wave of invites are being sent out as of right now. If you don’t get in the first wave, don’t fret – Activision will be cranking out more over the next month.

The Call of Duty Elite beta will give participants the chance to test drive the service’s stat tracking, custom player groups, competitive events and video sharing.

When it goes live alongside the launch of Modern Warfare 3, all users will be able to access the service not only through web, but also by way of mobile devices, tablets and even through the game itself.

Free users will have full access to stat tracking, including heat maps and weapon performance, the ability to customize your loadout straight from Call of Duty Elite, video sharing options and quite a bit more. The premium features have yet to be detailed, but what is known is that you’ll get access to all map packs as a perk.

If you’d prefer to see all of the features in video form, Activision released a (goofy) Call of Duty Elite features video featuring LegendofKarl. You can check that out below.
