Chris Hemsworth, Wife Elsa Pataky Expecting Twins
Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky announced that she is pregnant with twins.
After showing off her growing baby bump at the Golden Globes red carpet — for which she looked amazing — a rep for the Australian actor confirmed the happy news.
Spanish magazine HOLA! first confirmed the story, saying that the 37-year-old actress was in her third trimester and the babies are due in the spring.
Chris Hemsworth reps confirmed in November of last year that the couple was expecting their second child, but at that time it was not known that Elsa Pataky was going to have twins.
The pair, who has been married since 2010, are parents to one-year-old India Rose, which is going to turn two before the arrival of her new siblings.
Chris Hemsworth recently wrapped up shooting the new Ron Howard movie In The Heart Of The Sea, the true story of a group of sailors who, in 1820, were stranded for 90-days after a sperm whale hit their boat.

For the role, Chris Hemsworth had to shed a lot of pounds to look scrawny as he plays a starved sailor.
A favorite of the ladies, the Thor star seems to be happy in his new role as a dad and has been photographed multiple times out and about carrying India Rose with him.
In a recent interview with E! News, Chris Hemsworth said that parenthood had changed him for the better.

With twins on the way and such a young big sister, Elsa is going to need all the help she can get, but it appears her hunky husband has no problem being a hands-on dad.
Chris Hemsworth is getting ready to reprise two previous roles when he begins production for The Avengers: Age Of Ultron and Snow White And The Huntsman 2 later this year.
