Judge Puts Trump’s Immigration Crackdown On Temporary Hold

A U.S. judge has granted a temporary reprieve to the many denied entry into the U.S. and those facing deportation after President Trump’s immigration crackdown. Donald Trump signed an executive order which has put a hold on allowing refugees from entering U.S. soil and a 90 day travel hold on citizens of seven countries Muslim majority countries. The entry restrictions apply to Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia Syria, Sudan and Yemen. The American Civil Liberties Union was successful in issuing an order stopping the deportation of visa holders or refugees stranded at airports although the executive has not not been reversed.
