‘Dewshine’ Claims Lives of Tennessee Teenagers

A toxic concoction called Dewshine has claimed the lives of two teenagers from Robertson County, Tennessee. Dewshine (not to be confused with the PepsiCo. version) is made from Mountain Dew and racing fuel. It is the racing fuel component which contains almost 100 percent methanol that is extremely toxic and lethal. It is assumed that the teenagers believed that the racing fuel could be used as a substitute for alcohol, however they did no realize how toxic it could be.
