New York State Plans To Turn Off Niagara Falls Water

Have you ever wondered what Niagara Falls would look like without water? Well, New York State has plans to shut off the water to the falls in order to replace the century old bridge. In 1969 the Falls were turned off, then it was so that geologists could study rock erosion. Many tourists gathered then to take a peek, however the live video from the Hilton Fallsview Hotel will allow those who are curious and not close by to witness the event online. It is expected to occur sometime next year.
