Drivers License Not Valid For Domestic Flight Identification

The Real ID Act will be changing the way that people travel on domestic flights within the U.S., as drivers licenses will no longer be a valid method of identification if you are from one of five states. Currently, the five non compliant states who have also not received an extension waiver are Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico and Washington. Although only half of the states have been deemed compliant, the remainder have received extensions waivers.
