Sleep In Separate Beds For Happier Relationships

Couples sleeping in separate beds may actually have better relationships and lower divorce rates, says OZY contributing editor, Rachel Levin. Sleep specialists claim that 50 percent more disturbances occur when couples sleep in the same bed and up to 40 percent of couples are opting to sleep apart. Although this is the preferred sleeping arrangement of older couples as health issues begin to be a factor, supporters suggest that perhaps younger couples should adopt a separate bed arrangement.
