$155 Billion Merger Creates World’s Largest Pharmaceutical Company

Pfizer and Allergan have announced a merger between the pharmaceutical companies for $155 billion. This deal will make them the largest pharmaceutical company in the world. With the headquarters to be based in Dublin, concerns have been raised that the Pfizer is doing so to avoid United States corporate tax standing at 35 percent to Dublin’s 20 percent. The deal is expected to go through by 2017.
