The TMNT 2 cast has just added supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio to the list. The Michael Bay-produced series may have had critical hate on the same level as his Transformers series, but the sequel is still on its way.
With a screenplay penned by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol , and Dave Green ( Meltdown ) directing, the TMNT 2 reviews might show a turnaround. However, this is Ambrosio’s first time on the screen, just like Rosie Huntington-Whitely’s was in Transformers: Dark of the Moon . Both models got their start with Victoria’s Secret , and now they’re both going to be known as Michael Bay actresses.
Alessandra Ambrosio is set to play Will Arnett’s love interest in the TMNT 2 story, so he might be a little more rounded out this time, more than just April O’Neil’s camera man. Megan Fox is expected to reprise her role as O’Neil, so the initial question on my mind has been laid to rest.

That question was whether Ambrosio was going to replace Megan Fox as the ever-unlucky reporter. The answer is a decisive “no,” as the Hollywood Reporter says the Victoria’s Secret supermodel will be playing herself.
Other possible additions to the TMNT 2 cast include Rocksteady, Bebop, Casey Jones, and the alien brain creature Krang. None of them have been confirmed, but it was obvious by the end of the first film that if Shredder is back, he’s going to need help.
Not many details are known yet about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 , aside from its prequel’s director possibly leaving to helm Transformers 5 instead of Michael Bay. That alone might give moviegoers hope that this sequel won’t end up on any “top 10 worst” lists.
We will know more about the TMNT 2 cast when the TMNT 2 release date of June 3, 2016 closes in.
